When your'e in law school your'e expected to be industrious, diligent and at the most organized.
I'd say that in my 4 years in law school I have cultivated these qualities.
Despite the fact that I am in a higher year I have friends from the lower years and I can not help but lend my personally digested (summarized) cases.
Yesterday when I was in the library it came as a flattery when I noticed a person (lower year student), seated beside me to be holding a photocopy of my cases. It really felt good to see someone/somebody at least in a way giving a compliment to my efforts, express or implied.
I noticed that the copy she had was too thin in bulk, so I asked her if that was the only copy she had and said this was all she got.
I then told her that the case/s I lent was COMPLETE for the course, considering that my professor before was also their professor now. I looked at her copy and much to my SHOCK and CHAGRIN not only was my STAMPADED NAME ERASED, but the copy she had only were the EVEN NUMBERED cases.
When I told her that I when I lent my case it was COMPLETE, she felt bad.
But what more with me ?
I lent my case whole-heartedly only to find out that when re-xeroxed by other students they get an incomplete copy and far EVEN WORST the lender, or subsequent lender or any Tom, **** or Harry, makes it seem as if they were the source of the original digested cases.
With this scenario, I'm being prompted not to lend my cases anymore because aside from the above-mentioned circumstances I still firmly believe that in law school your'e expected to be industrious, diligent and at the most organized.
Is this a right attitude?
