You're right, a lot of the students and alumni are still on vacation mode. But I'm sure most of them, if not all, were watching the game on tv like me and my Lasallian brother. Too bad it had to fall on Easter when most of us would rather enjoy the long weekend out of town or just rest after coming back from every summer spot in this country. :D

Also, the game was a test coverage for Studio 23 since it is part of the group that are still bidding for the right to cover the PBA games. If I'm not mistaken, the other bidders are Solar Sports and ABC 5 as usual. A sign of things to come, but I don't know if it will have any effect on the UAAP or worse, the NCAA coverage. ;)

like what i've posted in the other forum, this so called "charity" game was not really intended for what was announced.. several weeks back, this game was already postponed due to the game 7 of SLR-PF championship. back then, the organizers said that this was a fund raising game for jun lozada which i think is FULL OF CRAP!!! why the hell jun lozada got into this revered ADMU-DLSU rivalry?? i believe that's the main reason why a lot of DLSU and ADMU supporters "backed off" from the game.

even the game ended in a draw, i don't feel there would be any rematch (as reported in some newspapers).

But you're right, they will make sure that they would start the PBA games before or after the collegiate season. But wouldn't that marginalize some of the fans who can't wait for the pro games?

The PBA did not organize the "Lozada/Truth" game. The PBA did organize this game for the PBA Player's Trust Fund. Personally, I think the reason that only a few people went to this game was because they confused it for the now cancelled "Lozada/Truth" game. ("which (you) think is FULL OF CRAP!!!" hahaha :rotflmao: ) Also, it's not the UAAP season. Hindi rin naman puno noong 2005 Ateneo-La Salle "Dream Games". :)

I would like to think priority parin ng Stud 23 ang college games, since nauna tayo rito and sino ba ang mas proven na patok? Iba ang fans ng PBA, kadalasan either older men or hoop enthusiasts. Wherein sa college ball halos universal. Mapa-basketball fan, student, alumni, mga juding,:D maton, kikay, or kung sino sino lang, pwedeng pwede ang college ball.:bop:

Oh sh!t, really? It was all scripted if you havent noticed. Walang basketball game na draw. Hindi to soccer, an extra 5 minutes wouldnt hurt in "basketball". There's really no reason for them not to play overtime. Turns out it aint nothing more than an "exhibition" game and the turnout was AS REAL AS PRO-WRESTLING. They used the FIBA rules (which stated that, in exhibition games there will be no OT if scores are tied in the end of the regulation).

Still, it was still scripted.
