what are your top ten ncaa games of all time?

saw some relatively old uaap games on studio 23 and thought maybe they should put old ncaa games on air too!

question is, ano kaya ang magandang ilagay sa ncaa na walang away? ;) i like ncaa games for speed and rawness. but i can't think of a single game na pwede kong itawag sa studio 23 para i-request na ma-replay. aside from the finals, of course. siguro naman kasama sa lineup ang mga yun.

maybe you guys have a better recall of past games?

I watched the replay of the SAN BEDA-LETRAN Juniors Finals 2002 kanina. Players I saw from the squires:Walsham(DLSU),Cua(DLSU),Melegrito(CSJL),Dangcal(CSJL), Guevarra(CSJL), and sa red cubs naman Arao(ADMU),Casio(DLSU),Escueta(ADMU),Baldos(ADMU), Agbayani(UP). Sa awarding nakita ko si Espiritu ng UE. Sa JRU pala *** dati. Ganda ng laban kanina. start ng three peat ng Beda yung championship na yun. Casio and Cua nagsasagutan ng 3pts! grabe!

The San Beda-Mapua championship games (both seniors and juniors) of 1991.

1987 Letran - San Sebastian Cahmpionship. Series tied 1-1, Hatton had a chance to win but he missed the jumper. Time winding down to 4 seconds, Ayson of Letran made an assist to the fast running Dong Libed to put up a shot with 2 sec left in the game. Letran won by 1 point.

It's just like Letran's Freddie Webb's miracle shot againts the Elias Tolentino led JRU Bombers in the NCAA finals that denies JRU's hopes for a grand slam.

was it hatton who took the shot for baste then? or wasn't it a turnover that happened since baste was up by 1 then and all they had to do was to run out the clock?. anyway, a couple of things about that game:

- arthur ayson hit a buzzer beating 3 pointer at the end of the 1st half to cut a 10 pt baste lead to 7

- with less than a minute to go baste held a 1 pt lead

- what did baste in during the last minute of the game was a coaching blooper by francis rodriguez -- at that time, teams had the option of waiving freethrows as a form of strategy. 3 times letran fould eugene quilban and three times coach rodriguez waived the freethrows

- a turnover ensued and libed just dashed to letran's frontcourt and took a jumper within the freethrow circle with 1-2 seconds left--- money!

- nap hatton made the highlight move of that game: an undergoal stab similar to what dr. j did against kareem and mark landsberger i the nba

- baste played not to lose during the last 2 minutes -- patay oras, di na tumitira, waiving freethrows, etc. -- and dahil dun natalo sila

UPHR vs. San Beda when Arjun Cordero did not make his lay up. It paved way to the revival of San Beda as not settling to be a cellar dweller all the time
