due to lack of support and inconsisitency of the coaching staff the letran senior booters was disbanded already, i think it was early 2003-2004 season. nakakapanghinayang lang because you can see pure talent on those kids, kaya yung iba napilitang lumipat from uaap schools. the good thing is that may naiwang legacy ang senior booters bago sila nawala. KUDOS!!*okay*

dapat i-require ang lahat ng ncaa schools to participate in da "beautiful game" kasi football is the most popular sports in the planet atsaka ang dami dami naman bata na naglalaro nito. Football should be participated in by all ncaa member schools both in the senior and junior divisions.

nagtryout pa nga ako dati dito, sa quirino grandstand pa sila nag-ttraining. nagbackout lang ako.

Last 2004 NCAA Football Season, ang score ng Red Booters natin sa JRU was 41-0 or more. Tapos bigla na lang pumasok yung coach at manager ng JRU team and sinabi nila sa referee at flagmen na masyado daw tinerorized yung team nila, medyo bigyan daw ng dignidad yung team nila or else hindi na sila sasali next season kung ganyan mangyayari kasi nga tambak. Ayun, pinatigil na yung game eh nasa 60th minute pa lang yung game (full time is 90 minutes).

Hindi ako gumagawa ng kwento coz kasama ako sa team nung 2002-2004. Pero practice player na lang ako nung 2004 because of thesis, walang katapusang thesis.

Oo nga eh, actually all players including full backs, skipper and stopper (muntik na yung goalkeeper) eh naka-goal din. Man of the Match nga si Vaughn Melendrez nun kasi 10 goals ginawa niya. Imagine, goalkeeper siya nun pero dahil JRU ang opponent eh pinag-striker/forward siya. Hehe. Hindi nga nkalagpas ng half court yung JRU players (except pag kick-off kasi laging may kick-off).

Sa Ateneo laging may tournament sa high school basketball court. I experienced din palying for PUMA and Adidas Tournament in Glorietta Activity Center and SM Megamall.

Actually, that's why we have Mendiola F.C. coz it's the 2nd team (reserve players) whenever San Beda have two teams to participate in other leagues such as Alaska Cup, Globe Super Cup, RIFA, Summer League, Ang Liga (UAAP-NCAA) etc.

By the way, don't forget the Los Borachos. Sila yung laging katambay sa labas pag Frolics.

dapat talaga i-require all ncaa schools to participate in football. ditto with all uaap schools. footballis the world's most popular sports. andami rin pinoy na bata na naglalaro nito. dapat i-revive ang JRU football. marami tada dbtc manda na nagka-college sa JRU so iguess makaka-recruit sila ng footballers. i remember dati na sinasabi sakin ng mga pari sa dbti makati na si manny victorino daw was a goalkeeper nung dbyc manda siya.

may NC sa San Beda Soccer field last monday. Ganda ng Game! Mapua at or Baste vs San Beda. Sympre andun yung Community and mostly first time *** manood ng Soccer. 1-0 ata, and mostly SBC BOOTERS ang umaatake, kwawa naman yung GOAL KEEPER NG KALABAN! hehehe

But that game proved that mabagal yung ikot ng bola ng booters. Pero ang nakakataw di man lang nakatawid hangang 3/4 ng field yung bola ng kalaban ng sbc. tapos sa napakadaming shot attempts ng San BEda dalawa lang or at most tatlo yung attempts ng kalaban.
