hi! I'm using Ishigaki Glutathione. One bottle costs 1400. It's relatively cheaper than the other popular brands. One bottle has 60 capsules 1000mg each. I'm taking 2 per day and I finished 3 bottles already. Ok sya. When I first used it I was super sunog talaga coz I just came back from the beach then (I forgot to put on sunblock, hehehe...). After just 1 week of taking, my skin already lightened. After mga 3 weeks ganda na ng skin ko. As in naggoglow sya - radiant talaga. My officemates noticed kaya nga nagpasabay din sila ng order sa kin. Pero nung una sabi ko sabay-sabay namin i-try ayaw nila. hahaha.... anyway, I would recommend it. Although pag uminom ka ng 2x a day you need to drink lots of water. And nga pala you have to take it with vit. C.

i use the same brand ishigaki - although ang mahal ng kinukuhaan mo juicy, 950 lang yung sa kin. other brands i've tried are active white and white princess. yung white princess may placenta daw so ew i felt squeamish taking it. so far in terms of price and performance i would recommend ishi. it helped clear my acne and restore my rosy complexion haha. btw it's not bfad approved. and yep take it w/ vitamin C (i buy unilab, 125 per 100 tablets) and vitamin e.

six pack, walang side effects ang ishi - mamumuti ka lang. but be realistic, it will not change your skin color. it will lighten your skin to its maximum possible fairness so don't expect to look like lucy torres :) of course hindi sha hiyang sa lahat, di maiiwasan na yung iba hindi hiyang. pwedeng hindi ka hiyang sa gluta itself, sa brand, sa dosage (example 1000mg ang ishi, might be too high for you), sa other components nito (some of my friends are allergic to lypolic acid). so consult your doctor muna. punta ka lang sa classifieds health and beauty. madami dun nagbebenta :)

Hi.I just bought Cosmo Skin today. Dami lang ako narinig na raving reviews.(search sa google)Medyo new siya sa market. i tried the healthy options glutha with their vit c, 3wks ko pa lang nagagamit obvious na ang glow ng skin. as in halata na pati sa pix esp pag nasa araw. un nga lang 1800 sya 250mg 60 caps. ang ginagawa ko 2x a day para 500mg/day tapos may vitC na may rose hips.. keri pati lips nagrered, and nakakalighten ng pimple marks, dati may pimples ako sa likod, ***** nawala na. ive been using it 4months na...worth it!

I use GLUTA-C from the US. I bought mine at US$40 plus shipping. From what I researched, REAL reduced glutathione can only fit Double 00 caps or BIG capsules. Impossible ang 1000mg formulation - unless hindi reduced yung ginamit. And dapat halos white yung powder - hindi yellow/brownish. Kapag yellow or brownish mas madami yung Vit C or ALA sa capsule.

Meron naman Glutathione with the same formulation as GLUTA-C - medyo mahal lang. Kaya I ended up reselling GLUTA-C here in the Philippines. P1,850 good for 1 month na at 60capsules. Big capsules too. It's made in the US and FDA approved.

So far, I like the results - puma-pantay na kulay ko. Specially the singit (matanda naman na lahat tayo). Natakot din akong mag-benta ng fake.

My hubby takes the Lucida DS once a day. Yung 1 bottle na 30 caps ang laman ay 1500 sa Watsons. So far ok sa kanya. Glowing ang skin. Ako nangulit na magtake siya. Wala namang side effects so far. (mga 4 mos. na siya umiinom).

Gluta-C all the way, i got mine from my sister in Maryland, just using it for 45 days, and i can honestly say that eto na ang pinaka effective na glutathione na natry ko and to think that im only using 1-2 capsules a day, with no additional Vit C or Alpha Lipoic at iba pang ingredients that you have to take pag ibang brand ang gamit mo. Worth it, worht it!!! Worth it!!
I don't care if its not BFAD approved, who cares, eh nalalagyan din naman ang BFAD, so what makes you so sure that it contains what they claim on the document, I doubt it!
As long as its Made in the USA, at talagang galing sa US, im cool. Wag lang galing dito o sa China, yikes!!!

Hi there! Could you explain further what reduced gluta means and why these gluta need to be reduced to fit the Big capsule? For pure gluta (no ALA Vit C, etc.), what amount would fit the Big capsule? Ive been using Vit Tathione from US (1000mg gluta, with grapeseed, vit c, ALA) and they are big white capsules din. So could it be that the formulations of the Gluta im taking are not possible because they would not fit the Big capsule? Been using these for the 3rd month now. My skin started lightening after the 1st month so I continued. Now my face is glowing and nawala blemishes.. Hi there! Could you explain further what reduced gluta means and why these gluta need to be reduced to fit the Big capsule? -There are 2 forms of Glutathione, in REDUCED and in OXIDATIVE (UNREDUCED)state. Kailangan Glutathione must be in REDUCED form para maging metabolically active and ma-process ng katawan mo. Actually meron na tayong GLUTATHIONE sa katawan, taking the supplements will just increase their role in cleaning your system - most especially the liver. Kapag Unreduced form - kahit i-take mo - walang effect sa katawan mo.

what amount would fit the Big capsule? A size 00 capsule or BIG capsule can fit up to 816mg of supplement ingredient. Pwede naman mag-fit ang unreduced form sa loob ng big capsule. Meron lang effect yung REDUCED.

So could it be that the formulations of the Gluta im taking are not possible because they would not fit the Big capsule?- Before I imported GLUTA-C from US. I was supposed to establish my own brand here. And nasabi sa akin ng isang chemical/ herbal company na ang kaya lang mag-fit ang 500mg-650mg sa isang BIG capsule or size 00 ang REDUCED glutathione, bulky kasi ang chemical composition ng REDUCED gluta. Kung maga-add-on pa ako ng ALA and Vitamin C, tig-100mg lang pwede kung 500mg ng reduced glutathione. I can't say how it is with other Glutathione with 1000mg, kung totoo. I was forced to import GLUTA-C instead, kasi masyadong mahal yung cost ng glutathione, dahil uso dito sa atin - tendency ng manufacturers is to jack up their price. I wanted to sell something less than 2k to be affordable to everyone.

So why are there a lot of 1000mg glutas? What could be the possible side effect for taking glutas not properly formulated? Please enlighten me.- As a consumer - I bought 1000mg din, I will not say what brand - hindi effective sa akin. I had one friend who bought the same 1000mg brand na bigla siyang nagma-migraine kapag uminom siya ng 1000mg. Meron kasing iba ng pearl powder yung nilalagay. I will still have GLUTA-C BFAD approved. But just to let you know, kahit ako kailangan mag-lagay sa BFAD para lang ma-process yung papers.

I have used Met before,tinry ko *** din.15caps lang binili ko.pwede kc per pc.sa mercury ko siya binili.pero nde ako hiyang sa met(pimples alert!).250mg *** ang met that time(i don't know kung may change na). *** vitamin C is double the dose of the gluta intake. For example 1cap met 250mg and 500mg vit c. kung twice a day, 500mg gluta and 1000mg vit na un. :)

dati merong active white made from usa 60 capsules nasa box kulay orange capsules costs around 1200-1400 depends kung san mo nabili. pero yung pinagbibilhan ko sa festival nawala na.. sobrang effective sakin non, hindi sa pagpapaputi kundi sa allergy ko. di na ko masyadong umiinom ng claritin. pero since february, nung bumalik nga ko dun at wala na, napilitan akong itry itong active white pero made in the phils (sa watsons ko bnili). parang walang effect. worse, bumabalik na naman ang allergy ko. fake kaya ito? nasan na kaya yung orig na active white?

Kung kaya lang ng powers ko na may trial pack - pwede din. Kaya lang, Hindi mo makikita yung effectiveness within 2 weeks. Usuallym within 1 month-3 months talaga. Hindi ka agad puputi - but pipino muna and magci-clear yung skin mo withn 30days to 45 days. And you have to put on at least SPF20 na sunblock or sunscreen - any brand.

if your goal for taking these supplements is to boost your immune system, then they are fine. Pero kung ang goal nyo ay pumuti, none of these oral supplements will work. NILOLOKO LANG KAYO. Ask any dermatologist that you trust (or any doctor who is a TRUE friend) and they will say the same thing--- the concentration in these oral supplements aren't enough to make your skin tone lighter. Yung intravenous preparations lang ng drug ang gumagana.

Claire Blanche Advance only contains an average of 471.67 mg L-Glutathione. The 1000mg claim is a big lie. My cousin also told me that it is impossible for the capsule to contain 1000mg of L-GLuta because it WONT FIT. On the good side, my cousin noted the CB has a GOOD PHARMACEUTICAL GRADE of L-Gluta similar to popular brands like Met, KB, Cosmo, Optimale etc.

My cousin also tested LUCIDA and it contains RICE BRAN (an extender).


Japan's Silky White (from the maker's of Ishigaki) - 449.54 mg- The content of this brand is EXACTLY the same as Ishigaki!

Dr. James L-Glutathione - 410.50 mg- according to my cousin, this brand contains a lot of extenders.

Vitamin World L-Glutathione - 241.54 mg

MISS WHITE PRINCESS with Alpha T ACIDS Skin Whitener - 213.10 mg- Please do not use this brand. It contains so many undetermined/unknown binders which could harm you.

PH338 Glutathione - 96.50 mg- My cousin says that this brand is "pure" just like KB (no extenders) even if the milligram content is low.

ISHIGAKI contains an average of 443.50 mg L-Glutathione. Also, ISHIGAKI contains very small traces VITAMIN C and ALA. My cousin also compared the NAC of ISHI and KB. The NAC in ISHI and KB is different. My cousin told me that the NAC in ISHI is milder than KB...

My cousin also tested COSMO SKIN. It contains 462.20 mg L-Glutathione

that's what i know also.. I have a lot of doctor friends.. Glutathione daw is an antioxidant so it slows down the aging process.. so good sya for the skin and all.. isa sa mga effects rin nito is skin lightening. so Glutathione is not really for skin lightening lang, isa lang ang skin lightening sa possible effects nito. I am also a believer of glutathione. I have been taking this since 2002, nung hindi pa ito sikat at commercialized dito sa Pinas. I used to take Windmill Glutathione 250mg (imported from US) daily until magkaroon ng MET Tathione so I switched kasi mas mura. I swear ang laki ng ipinuti ko kasi dati sobrang itim ko talaga as in mala-aeta. :lol: Now everyone is shocked everytime they see my high school pictures. Someone said I lightened 20 shades but that's an exaggeration. I guess it's safe to say I lighted at least 7 shades. I must admit that I also use whitening soap for my body and lightening cream with sunscreen for my face, but what made me believe that glutathione is really effective is the fact that my eye color changed from black to medium brown and my hair color also changed from black to dark brown. As in after taking gluta for about a year, my friends have been teasing me that I am wearing contact lenses daw and each time I would have my haircut the hairdresser would ask if my hair is dyed. I couldn't think of any explanation for that except glutathione. My sister, who has been taking gluta longer that I am, also has medium brown eyes now. As for her hair, I couldn't tell because she's dyeing it. :D By the way, my sister is a doctor too, an OB-Gyn to be exact.

I have a friend who is a biochemist and he told me that glutathione is broken down by acids in the stomach ONLY after it is oxidized. Glutathione, when maintained in reduced form, can NEVER be destroyed by the stomach acids. I forgot the explanation, all I remember is that it has something to do with the chemical structure of glutathione when in reduced form (I will try to research it). That's why it really makes sense to take Gluta together with ALA and other potent antioxidants in order to keep it in its effective, reduced form.

Yes it's true I bought 2 sets for 1,500 last month. In some mercury drugstores it's 750 per set. In some branches it's buy one take one.

Personally, I didn't like KB. In one set that I bought there were 3 capsules which were punctured (butas). That tells a lot about the quality assurance of the manufacturer.

I actually want to try gluta for the antioxidant benefits and not skin whitening. Ayoko kasi yung pagkaputi ng gluta eh, parang hindi natural. Halata kasi yung pagka puti sa gluta kesa sa natural fair skinned.
