View Full Version : Proactiv?

Has anyone tried using PROACTIV? I'm almost sure I'd be buying a kit anytime soon. Kaso, its price is not something I'd spend for just for the heck of trying, since college stud pa lang ako at wala namang income. It SHOULD WORK once I purchase it!
So I'd like to know if anyone here has tried the product and of course if it does really work. Well, Jessica Simpson & P. Diddy say it does , but I want non-celebs sharing positive testimonials about it, and probably suggesting other products that are more effective and more affordable.
Thanks a lot. :)

Oops, as for me, it did not worked for me. I've been using like almost 2 years, pero walang improvement. I assume you're a male, becuase I recommend Kiehl's Products. Very effective, pero the con about Kiehl's is the price - very expensive dito sa Philippines. If you have relatives sa USA, pabili ka na lang doon. Pero to give you an idea about their products, visit http://www.kiehls.com . They have store here in Manila (the first and only store in the country as of this time) at Greenbelt 5 Makati....

Tried it for a couple of weeks, di ko sya nakahiyang kaya I stopped using it. My sister is using it and it works for her. Siguro depende sa skin type mo and also lifestyle. Why not consult a derma first to know what is best for your skin?

i am SHOCKED to hear that it doesn't work.
I have been a regular customer of proactive.
NOT ONLY DOES IT MAKE YOUR SKIN SMOOTH, BUT IT MAKES YOU LOOK YOUNGER, EVEN....
I became a heartthrob before when I was using it...just stating a matter of fact.

Tulad ng ginagamit ko po dati, bago Pro-Activ, matagal ko talaga gamitin ang isang produkto upang mabiyang pag-asa na makakatulong saakin, pero di talaga umepekto saakin.
WALANG PAKI-ALAMAN SA MALI KONG GRAMMAR:lol: SIGURO EMPLEYADO KA NG PRO-ACTIV KAYA PATI GRAMMAR KO PINAGDIDISKITAHAN MO. DI NAMAN ITONG ISANG THREAD TUNGKOL SA GRAMMAR. BASTA NAGKAKAINTINDIHAN AYOS NA....

No! :( i used it for like 6 months and nag flat naman yung pimples ko but the scars were still there plus medyo dark yung scars since Proactiv has benzoyl peroxide.
it'll be better if you'll just go to a dermatologist since ganun din naman yung cost.. [or mas mura pa :)] try to go to Dra. Jacinto's Skin Clinic at Makati.. The Best!... worth yung money mo ;-)

Believe it or not, it's working for me. I never felt my skin like this, makinis. Try it, might work for you, might not. But I bet it will have an effect. In short, base to base casis. Haha.
The previous post is true, I've to wait til some scars fade away.

I was under the Proactive program for 2 years. I couldn't say that I was really that impressed but it seems that you strictly need to follow the recommended application procedures for you to feel it's wonders.
I've decided to drop the toner and lotion a while back and replaced them with a Vitamin A solution to complement Proactiv's cleanser. The results seem better.

di nag work ang proactiv sa kin. binisita ko ang dermatologist at binigyan nya ako ng prescription pills, cream, and facial wash. iyon, tangal lahat!
sa akin naman in a matter of a month and half of using it but not the whole set ha *** ginagamit ko lang was *** facial wash and *** refining mask... it worked for me naman but not for my younger sister.
after around 3 months nagpalit na ako ng product kc na ubosan na ako... i used since then neutrogena deep cleansing tsaka olay witch hazel blah blah.. depends on what's available... hehe and so far okey naman wala na masyadong pimple..
*** proactiv din is effective sa akin not just for prevention but pati na rin pagtanggal ng marks ng pimples...

It has worked for me. I only use the "Clear Zone" body pads. Fyi, i use it for my face too. Again, that's all i use and no other Proactiv products. It's convenient and easy to use, just wipe wipe wipe where ever you are.

I've tried it too, pero hindi rin sya nag-work so I ended up stopping it. I know of people na nag-work naman sa kanila, so siguro, iba-iba lang ang effect nya. Personally, I prefer getting a facial once a month...mas nawala ang pimples ko that way.

i tried it but didn't work.
so i switched to a milder product, but same regimen
at night:
Celeteque facial wash and toner
then Panoxyl (over acne-infested areas - not just spot - meaning the whole cheek/forehead/chin)
morning:
Celeteque products and moisturizer (yes i do use moisturizer despite my acne, i have combination skin)
i don't know but it worked for me...my skin's smoother than ever.
