Kasi dito sa bahay, pag may Filipino contestant sa Wheel of Fortune or pag nabanggit ang "Filipino" sa kahit anong show, sasabihin, "FILIPINO daw!!!"

hehe! two days ago i just saw Alec Mapa on Ellen's show. sobrang natuwa ako and syempre proud. If you guys dont know, Alec Mapa is an LA-comic who has regular guesting spots in Ugly Betty (he's the talk-show host) and Desperate Housewives (gay best friend of gabby). He's gay, out and proud, and above all Filipino!

Pinoy yung gay bestfriend ng gabrielle dun? ows?!
Oo naman, naeexcite ako. Nung finals nga ng America's Most Smartest Model ng VH1 (oo, nanunuod ako ng palabas na to, nakakatawa ang kaengotan ng ibang contestants), judge si Monique Lhuillier... I feel proud!
... yun nga lang, binoto nya yung ayaw kong contestant. Natalo tuloy ang bet ko

Depende. Kung ang Pinoy e ala-William Hung lang ang gagawin (yeah, I know that the now-famous Chinese guy used to be an Engg. stude in one of the top universities in the US but people still consider him as the epitome of an Asian dork), ikahihiya ko. When a Filipino appears in a US/UK TV show, he does not only represent the Philippines but the Asian people as well. And if he would only be portrayed as a fool in front of the TV (and if he, in turn, enjoys being a big fool and treated like a dumbo by the White Man), then why should I feel proud of him?

I just wonder bakit hindi ko napansin eh usually on the lookout ako sa mga pinoy on TV series...kasi nga I feel proud seeing them...ganun naman diba  Kumbaga pag sinabing pinoy sya, napapalingon ako sa TV at natatandaan ko nga na pinoy yung specific actor na yun-- that's how I define "naeexcite"
Hindi ako nanood ng connie & carla movie...diko kasi alam na may pinoy dun

Why would you not be proud of renaldo lapuz? based from what i've he works as a tricycle driver here in the phil. and as janitor in the US. What do u expect from him? His antics in AI was entertaining enough to give him that much exposure by the judges. others who tried to perform there like him were irritating and either thrown out or disrupted by the judges.
Most of all, the way he interacts with people says it all...he's a good man and can very well represent the filipino.
Pinaka-ayoko yung may na-achieve nga internationally pero sobrang yabang at sobrang agresibo! yun ang nakakahiya.
