I really need these books!

Guys, I my nephew in Bacolod needed the following books badly. Since the only bookstore available here in Lipa is National Bookstore (which is useless for students), I cannot find these books.

If you know a specific bookstore near Alabang where I can find these, please tell me.

1. Solid Mensuration by Kern and Bland

2. Differential and Integral Calculus by Love Clyde and Earl Raiville

Please let me know if you know any bookstore (specific to textbooks) where I can purchase thses books.

You could call National Bookstore kung meron sila sa mga branches nila. I know I have this book, at nabili yata ng kuya ko sa National nung araw pa.

Try Goodwill Bookstore kung wala sa National. Nagugulat ako minsan sa Goodwill at meron sila nung mga rare textbooks na kailangan ko dati.

Di ko lang alam kung meron malapit sa Lipa or Bacolod. Sorry, wala akong specific branch na suggestion.

my sister used to buy books from national bookstore by mail.
She just wrote to the company asking if they will mail books (just one book or 2).
They agreed to. Payment was via "money order" stub back then. Check their website maybe they have delivery services for outside luzon orders.

i'm sure may iba pang branches ng goodwill. pero ang madalas ko dati pinupuntahan, nung nasa megamall at nasa glorietta.

it might do you good to call them up first to ask kung meron sila, para makatipid ka sa pamasahe kung wala sila. may webpages ang national and goodwill bookstores so andun siguro somewhere nung numbers. actually, i checked the online catalog of goodwill at di ko nakita nung int/diff calc book. either wala talaga, or sa maling lugar ako naghanap, so tawagan mo na rin lang.

you can send them emails as well, pwede mo kseng ipahanap at ipa reserve whichever branch available yung books na hinahanap mo. saves you much time and money sa pag bookstore hopping. nagawa ko na yan dati and they'd reply to your email or call you kung available na yung book. :)

Goodwill sa Recto. You can take a PUV (Alabang - Skyway - Edsa) and get off at LRT EDSA Station. Take LRT up to Carriedo Station. THere's a Goodwill bookstore there. Before you reach the corner of Recto, you will find the bookstore along the way (at the right side).

Is it Rainville for Diff/Int Calculus? We used Petterson, wala lang... :lol:

Tell your nephew to go to Iloilo City, there is D'TOPS Bookstore where you can find these books. If not then ask the owner to have your reservation and pay in advance.
