di man siya makakacontribute ng points, but alam naman nating versatile sya at makakacntribute sya sa defense ng dlsu.. *okay*

sana makapag-adjust na sila next game with their guest player contributing points.. parang lame kasi ang games at katamad manood kung di mahigpit ang mga laban..

a libero focuses only on receives.. pwedeng magtoss, pwede din magspike but di pwedeng tumalon.. di din nakakapagserve at parating nasa backline position.. yun ang pagkakaalam ko.. hehe.. *okay*

nandun ako nung game nila against uste.

nagulat din kami ng frend ko nung makita namin na iba uniform nia.
pero k lang kasi magaling pa rin naman siya.

sana gumaling na *** shoulder niya, gusto naming makita ulit siyang pumalo.

nandun din ako kaso natalo sila ng UST...oo nga sana gumaling na injury niya para bumalik dati nyang laro....ang galing pa naman niya pumalo kahit maliit lang siya (cute naman):)

at least pwede na syang magkaroon ng individual award as libero...mas maraming kalaban kung attacker...pwedeng 3 to 4 ang attacker bawat team eh sa libero 1 lang bawat team

si Illa Santos talaga ang pinaka-cute kung pagiging cute din lang ang pag-uusapan. iba yung ganda niya compared sa nakikita kong ganda kay Wendy Semana. si Illa kasi yung tipong girl next door na talagang pagkakaguluhan ng mga lalaki. :)

A little addendum: the libero can only do an overhead set if he/she is behind the attack line, but has to do a underhand (bump) set if he/she is in front of the attack line, otherwise he/she will be called for a backline violation.

napansin ko lang po, bilang libero mahusay ang pinapakita nitong si Manilla Santos, ipag patuloy lang niya ginagawa nya mukhang magiging best libero siya....patunay lang talaga na magaling na volleyball player itong si Illa, pinatunayan nya na yan dati bilang isang open spiker kahit na maliit lang siya naging magaling na spiker din siya...anyway, more power sa yo Illa sana ikaw ang maging best digger sa vleague!!!!

I actually didn't expect their victory against ADMU. Thinking that ADMU has the Thai import Lithawat Kesinee plus their we're able to beat the powerhouse team of UST.

After then winless Lyceum defeated DLSU, I thought that there will be no hope for them to enter the semis... But with the way they played yesterday, wherein they were able to give ADMU a defeat via sweep (25-23, 25-19, 25-20)... Yeah! May pag-asa pa talaga! :) :)

It is true that Illa Santos won't be playing this season... Aside from the fact the she still needs to fully recover from her shoulder operation, she is also a graduating student. She is currently finishing her thesis and OJT.

OT : Chie Saet, the most veteran player of DLSU, will also skip this season's tournament due to the same reason :)

Then that would be great! Since, only Michelle Datuin is playing her last year of eligibility this season, we'll be looking forward to a strong DLSU Women's Volleyball Team.

I've read in the APCOM that the reason why she's skipping this season is her shoulder injury and because she is finishing her thesis and OJT. No doubt about her injury, but I wonder on the second reason because when I checked the verification of graduates facility of DLSU, she already graduated last April 16, 2007:)

Sayang dahil hindi siguro siya nakatikim ng 3-peat sa vleague at UAAP kung ganun ang nangyari... Pero siguro mas matindi pa ang kasikatan niya dahil mas konti ang offensive options ng blue kaya may makakascore siya ng todo-todo

question re rules: yun bang libero is designated... for an entire tournament? or per game? if illa is injured DURING a game, can someone else take her place as the libero for the rest of the game?

can la salle say: for the next game, si hernandez (kunyari lang) ang libero, then after that, si cruz naman ... ?

^I'm not sure pero I think pwede magpalit ng libero. For example kasi nung first game this UAAP ng UST against FEU, ang libero nila is Lazaro then nung next game naman against La Salle si Curato naman. Nung V-league din nangyari yun sa DLSU. Yung karamihan ng games nila si Diego ang libero then nung last few games si Gohing na ang ginamit.

Sana kahit papano nakatulong yung sagot ko. haha :D

napansin ko lang parang ang tagal ng naglalaro ni Illa sa La Salle parang naalala ko 1st year college pa lang ako naglalaro na siya tapos ngayon graduate na ko naglalaro pa din siya sana kinuha na lang siya ng RP team.

This is just her 4th playing year dahil wala ang DLSU sa scene nung Season 69 at nagskip siya ng Season 70. 2nd year na siya on her Master's degree unlike other players na matagal ng naglalaro na ni hindi pa tapos ang bachelor's degree...

3 of DLSU's players are already on Master's namely : Manilla Santos (2nd year), Michelle Datuin (2nd year), and Celine Hernandez (1st year) and just 20 years old...

Ako naman hihirit pare ah... Bukod kay Serafica sino pa bang players ng school mo ang gumgraduate on time o nakagraduate man lang bago maubusan ng playing years sa UAAP?

May mga nagsasalita kasi ng kung anu-ano hindi naman alam ang buong story. So what kung matagal ng naglalaro di ba? Hindi naman ibig sabihin eh pabaya siyang estudyante dahil gumgraduate naman siya on time at ngayon 2nd year master's degree student na siya. galing ni Illa kanina huh, I admit na feel ko na delikado Adamson kanina when she shows emotions after set 3 kanina. Then she will sacrifice Christmas break para hindi maputol training niya for UAAP. That's the way to do it for your last year. Good job Illa.

that's what i like about her. her attitude. if they die, they'll die fighting. and she's able to convert that passion for them to win. atta girl illa!!! you're one hell of a player!!*okay*

This is just her 4th playing year dahil wala ang DLSU sa scene nung Season 69 at nagskip siya ng Season 70. 2nd year na siya on her Master's degree unlike other players na matagal ng naglalaro na ni hindi pa tapos ang bachelor's degree...

3 of DLSU's players are already on Master's namely : Manilla Santos (2nd year), Michelle Datuin (2nd year), and Celine Hernandez (1st year) and just 20 years old...

Ako naman hihirit pare ah... Bukod kay Serafica sino pa bang players ng school mo ang gumgraduate on time o nakagraduate man lang bago maubusan ng playing years sa UAAP?

sorry pare pero wala akong masyadong alam pag dating sa mga playing years ng mga manlalaro hayaan mo pag may nasagap akong impormayson ibabahagi ko kaagaad sayo ...*okay*

I've only watched V league a few times two years back.

Manilla Santos was one of the players I found very very impressive.

^ Basta ang alam ko eh yung team captain nyo nung Season 68 at 69 eh hindi pa rin nakakagraduate sa bachelor's degree nya at naglalaro pa rin sa mga beach volleyball leagues kung saan walang eligibility rules kundi ang pagiging estudyante ng school. So how about that? 7 years in college pero parang 3rd year lang ang level kung ibabase sa academic records?! :rotflmao::rolleyes:

Pasensiya ka na akala ko kasi matino yung tanong mo about sa playing years ng mga manlalaro yun pala babanatan mo lang ako ng mga ganyang sagot hindi naman po kasi academics pinaguusapan dito sports thread po ito. Chilax lang.... masyadong mainit ang ulo mo. dude its not a rude comment binibigyan mo lang ng ibang kahulugan yung post ko malay ko bang nag masteral si Illa kaya siya tumagal sa paglalaro sa Lasalle. Natatawa lang ako sa mga banat mo para kang batang inagawan ng kendy... di na tayo mga bata para sa ganitong klaseng sagutan akala ko ba ang mga taga lasalle matatalino at may utak eh sa pinapakita mong kagaspangan ng ugali baka hindi na ako maniwalang lasalista ka nga.
