Gusto ko lang itanong sa inyo kung utak-biya nga ba ang mga La Salista? Totoo ba ito o hindi? Since meron namang UAAP section ay dito pa din sila nagpopost sa NCAA tourney at nagpopost ng mga comments na wala naman silang pakialam dapat.

Don't get me wrong, La Sallites... I have respect for your school. But with the way most La Sallites are reacting... para bang mga *****... na nakikigulo sa NCAA. :lol:

Akala ko ba may utak ang mga La Salista? Hindi ba dapat ang inyong mentality ay *** tipong, "E ano ngayon kung may gulo sa NCAA eh nasa UAAP naman ang team namin? At dahil nasa UAAP ang team naming ay dapat ang concern namin ay ang maging mental equal man lang ng mga taga NU." Di ba dapat ganun? if you're referring to me, and i know you are, i posted here as a BASKETBALL FAN first and foremost. i just stated that i come from dlsu just to prove that i am not biased. i never intended to declare that i come from dlsu but when people started to say that i was biased, i declared it and said that there is no point of me becoming biased because of the fact that i don't study in any school that is competing in NCAA. parang napaka illogical naman ata na maging biased ako kung i don't side with any school dba? kung matalino ka maiintindihan mo un. i posted here because i have been watching sbc games because i am amazed by ekwe last year, as most basketball fans are. also, when i learned that sbc has not won a championship for 28 years ata, i cheered for them. bakit? ang ncaa board ba dito closed sa di taga NCAA? anu un? parang north korea na closed sa outside world? if you will look at my posts, they are opinions and opinions of others should be respected by people. kaya nga democracy and freedom of speech. of all my opinions posted here in the board, the only opinion that i posted against sbc is the one concerning aljamal.

PERO most companies would prefer to get fresh graduates from ateneo lasalle and UP. nasa tao naman talaga eh.. kung magsisipag, makukuha, mataas mararating. pero it is a known fact that ateneo, la salle and UP have the advantage over the other schools. there is a reason why most students who graduate from high school want to go to these 3 schools. kasi may advantage ka pag nasa resume mo na galing ka sa 3 schools na to. my aunt who works for P&G herself said that pag ateneo lasalle or UP, may advantage talaga. pero it depends on the field of work din eh.. kung engineering naman, mapua is the school of choice. dba? kung accounting, sa business, dlsu. parang ganun? its all about advantages. its how employers value the education of the applicant and the school of the applicant is always a big part of deciding whether to hire an applicant or not. *****, it's the applicant's choice whether to take that advantage and work hard. if di naman matiyaga sa trabaho, kahit anung school ka nanggaling, mauunahan ka ng iba. un lang un.

that may be true pero the professors of dlsu are very highly regarded in their fields. i have professors who are graduates of harvard, princeton, and yale. a particular professor i know in la salle will even take a Sabbatical next term in la salle because he was invited to teach in China. I'm sure may mga profs din sa SBC and other schools na graduates from very prestigious universities in the world, so you cannot really say that the profs in the schools here are "third world". and facilities, maganda po ang facilities ng dlsu and admu, and im sure maganda din ang sbc kasi di naman pababayaan yan ng mga Bedans eh. kung pangit facilities ng ibang school, sana di lalahatin. kahit third world tau, di natin pwedeng itago na mas matalino pa tau compared to some college students in the states. kahit third world tau, may mga schools na nirerespeto ng ibang bansa tulad ng UP Law and Ateneo Law where bar passers of those two schools can actually practice their profession in some states in the US. di porket asa third world tau ay di na tau pwede lumamang sa iba. kung totoo *** sinasabi mo na di tau papansinin, look at the valedictorian of Ateneo HS, he was invited, invited ha di sha *** lumapit, sa Harvard to study there (interviewed by news central kaya alam ko). another situation is that some of my relatives who are graduates here in the philippines actually have very respectable jobs in the US. my point being that Filipinos are very smart people and we all should be proud of that. study even shows that Asian people are a lot smarter than their Caucasian counterparts. kasi tau, may talino na may tiyaga pa at nagiisip pa. If you feel you are alluded to, it is because you might be one. Utak Biya. I don’t really know the culture and mental frame of La Salle students. I only get a glimpse of those with the posts they make in this public forum and through La Salle alumni; like that congressman who thought he could buy his way to the Senate and another former Senator who insensitively authored a tax law that burdens the majority of our population; but I am not here to discuss that since national issues may not be your cup of tea and this is not the proper forum.
You speak of democracy and freedom of speech, you might as well add freedom of expression and all those other rights that are protected by the Constitution, because I fought for them and I am still fighting for them. I respect your opinion, but do you have to get personal when expressing them. I am amused by your manifestation of insecurities. You go to great depths to cover them up. It makes me wonder whether or not you are a pseudo intellectual or a plain airhead. As you claim to have passed the entrance exam of UP and you do not deny that it is our country’s No. 1 university, I wonder why you did not enroll there, then we could have met. Of course, you can concoct an array of defenses but being as proud as you are it contradicts your behavioral pattern.
Don’t tarnish the name of Ateneo by associating yourself with them. It is enough that you did that with La Salle. If ever you have an opinion, own it as your own. The merits of your opinion will be weighed by the strength of your arguments and propositions and not by mention of your association. You have a lot of time to spare and that is evident by the number of posts you have, I do not have the same luxury but if you use your time on more productive activities than caressing your ego, I think there is hope for you. Your last post is an indication of that. I could have simply ignored the opinions of simpletons but your recent post regarding our nation being a third world country shows tinge of patriotism. But our nation is indeed a third world country and it is because of the insensitive, oppressive and opportunistic elite that governs it. While it is true that opportunities in this country is limited to the top universities that is not something to brag about. It is offensive to other school’s students and graduates. The sorry state of our labor force wherein skilled workers and professionals have to seek work elsewhere is pathetic.
As for others, I can understand why you are a basketball fun…YOU CAN IDENTIFY WITH THE BALL, ROUND BUT HOLLOW AND FULL OF AIR.
As for your preoccupation with school ranking, you ranked mine as 299th in the world, the last time I checked it was ranked below 1,000. Is that really something to be proud about that the best our country could offer is not even among the Top 100 or is it an indication on how we should allocate our nation’s meager resources? Besides how do you really rank a university, by what standard is it measured, can we say that a person is a better man just because fate had been kind to him, as to give him the resources to study in a good school or is a man’s worth measured by his character and principles. So to those who believe that their universities makes them superior than others, I leave you with the immortal words of Abraham Lincoln, when in a debate against a Harvard, Cambridge graduate who insulted Lincoln for his lack of formal education, Lincoln retorted;
