i've seen this belt everywhere especially in mannequins of bench stores. lol. it has no hook, no holes. just two buckles to tighten it.

Plus the fabric looks like it's canvas. But the photograph is blurry so I can't be sure.

So it's a canvas D-ring belt. (Haba!)

My cargo pants has one of those belts. So D-ring belt pala tawag dyan. I hate them. Kahit anong gawin ko hindi ko yan mahigpitan. Maya-maya loose na naman sya kaya laglag na naman pants ko. I prefer to use my regular belts.

Here are some of my Dring belts.

All that was scattered inside my drawer.

Don't let the excess of the belt hang like that, looks a bit tacky.

But yes, a D ring/D buckle belt.

so how do you put it? for standard belt, you put it to your left and then the loose end points to the left also. with the D-ring belt, if you put it to your left, the loose end will be pointing towards your right.

@urbane_boy: yeah, mine's very loose so I had stopped using it.

@r0ck25: funny that you mention it but that's how I had worn it. hehe! I remember the first time I removed the belt from the pants.. I had a hard time figuring out how to put it on again! Kasi naman nakakalito kaya talaga.

that kind of belt is purely for STYLE's sake only! Don't expect it to be functional kasi it will not tighten your trousers!

pam-PORMA lang yan! hindi pwede isuot yan sa maluwag na pants!

that's why you buy pants that fits your waist.

^ i think he likes that specific pants? but if i were you, i would've let the pants pass by. it just means that it's not meant for you if you don't find the size for you

Bakit nagwowork naman sa akin itong type ng belt na ito?

BTW FYI Folded & Hung came out with a big bunch of these D-belts as early as maybe 3 years ago---that's when I bought mine. :-) Usable pa up to now and very nice.

Dati na ring uso 'to, I remember as a kid in the early 80s may belt na ganitong style...
