Hello everyone! I stumbled upon a local tv show that featured the "I'm not a plastic" bag, which is a bag that is currently being promoted to replace plastic shopping bags as part of the campaign for saving mother earth. Do you guys know where I could get one in the Manila area? Thanks! :lovesigh:

SM supermarket have this program na if you buy a certain amount from them, you can buy a bayong-like handbag for only 50 pesos. color green *** bag at hindi siya mukhang cheap ha!

@gorjas: That's the Anya Hindmarch bag, I think. Afaik, they're sold out sa US and UK, and the SEA launch has been postponed. Try websites like ebay or eluxury.

ETA: Rustan's also has the shopping bag promo. You buy it for Php99 and it comes with this bar code tag. Every time you use the bag, they scan the bar code and you get double points for their rebate system (Frequent Shopper ata tawag).

Hey guys! Thanks. Actually, from what I remember, the lady featured in the show said the bags she's selling are made of kacha cloth, which also have the print "I'm not a plastic bag" (or at least something like that). I'm not sure though if she brought these from the original designer or if hers are imitations. Anyway, your suggetsions are very helpful and interesting! I'll check those out. It's amazing that people are coming up with these stuff to save the environement...with style! Kudos to the person who started the "trend". *okay*

dublin only got 1,200 of that unlimited bag. people was queueing at brown thomas day before it was launched. ubos ang bag within 3 hrs. i think it was only 12 euros.

Just been from HKG over the weekend and the night markets sell it for HKG$60 (tawad na).

The lady selling the similar bag in the Philippines made a knock off---it says "I'm not plastic" or something, not exactly "I am not a plastic bag"

I think those bags are available in Rockwell, in one of those indie boutiques.
