Regardless of what the final decision concerning Aljamal may be I sincerely hope that someone, anyone, will actually use their brain and also do a formal inquiry on why oh why JRU, its board representative and its coach ever entertained an idea of "ambushing" the Red Lions just because one of its players got drafted in the PBA.

Never mind the Najorda, Espinas, Bautista and Aban precedents as these are crystal clear with regards to the NCAA's stand on the PBA draft. I'd rather focus and discuss really the "moral" conduct of the host school here. What they did is not only "TASTELESS" but is also "MALICIOUS". Imagine calling a board meeting a day before a big game to discuss a ****ing non-existent rule if not a rule they just made up. LOSERS. Also, it was already public knowledge that Aljamal was going to turn pro.... even before the opening of season 83.... so they are not in a position to say that they weren't aware of it. Moreover, assuming that such a rule does exist why on earth should they not INFORM SAN BEDA about it? The only reason why? Plain and simple SET-UP.

Everybody wants to bring the team down, whether it be via dubious calls by referees such as calling a three pointer a two pointer, or now via inventing a new rule out of imagination.

I say its about time that someone, somewhere out there actually stand up for what is right and expose those who not only do wrong but intentionally and maliciously bring down others just to serve their interests. This is not fairplay, nor being sporting, nor being gentlemanly... this is plain and simple asal "S".

If someone does make a stand and bring this whatever institution masquerading as a school to task I hope that these guys be banned from the NCAA for MASTERMINDING and PLOTTING against a member school.

Karma is a bad ***** and as much as I don't genuinely and seriously wish my fellow men ill, this time I am willing to make an exception.

If you really understood my post then you will see that what I am questioning is the SINCERITY of the protest and does not concern MANCOM.

Don't hide behind the MANCOM's skirts, your school, your admin reps and your coach hatched this idea of a protest not the MANCOM.

I will be frank with you and I won't mind you calling me stupid because SERIOUS situations like these should separate those with breeding and those without. i'm not against san beda but i think yousif aljamal and san beda didn't follow the rules. they must inform the league that he (aljamal)will apply for the draft by seeking clearance which is a formal way not just by announcing to the public and considering it an obvious move or anything. on the other side the mancom made the decision in time of their big game against jru which make things complicated and since the decision shocked san beda they must review the violations and they must be given due process to explain their side.

Please give us the specific section of the by-laws and/or constitution of the NCAA that cites this provision. Better yet, please post the provision/s here for the perusal of other readers and of myself because I am very well aware that we have not broken any rule.

Wow, what a street language they have. hahaha. Funny to say say that JRU people thinks that way. kakatwa lang na di tayo kawalan ng NCAA sabi nila. Pag nawala ang beda, pano nalang ang NCAA? 1. That they do not have the funds to member themselves on UAAP.

2. That they are afraid of field competition.

3. That they cannot cope with the social environment that UAAP has.

4. That they cannot fund the UAAP if ever they will be the host of the prestige competition.

Soon enough, other member schools with decency left in them would realize how some are exploiting their TEMPORARY powers.

Back to the topic: I think it is time to revisit the membership policies of the NCAA.
