adidas Philippines Track Jacket

Has anyone seen the adidas Philippines track jacket in the local adidas Originals stores? They're currently available online and abroad. I don't know if they're available locally though, I haven't been able to go out much.

i've asked around in some Adi branches. store reps gave me varying answers.... i.e they won't be available here (Phil track jacket not available in the Phil, duh?), they'll be out sometime October-November, etc.

i'm planning on just ordering online. maybe i'll add the Phil Gazelle too .

1) it's not special/limited edition
2) the milan jacket i've been waiting for since early this year dropped 3 months after its online release.

usually wala din namang alam yung mga nagbebenta sa stores. Nung naghahanap ako ng nike pilipinas jacket, may mga nagkakamot ng ulo, yung iba naman sinasabi sa "end of july". Ngayon naman nagtatanong ako sa adidas stores so far mga tinatanongan ko di daw nila alam kung may magrerelease. pero nakita ko sa dyaryo to eh, sa fashion show ng adidas dito sa pinas.

I called several adidas shops yesterday before going to rockwell and they said slated talaga ito for "October Release" Pero may stocks na sila ayaw lang ilabas, though some like rockwell and Rob Place released it already. Some Shops are accepting reservations by the phone, so try calling them, leave your name and contact number.


Anyways, Eto yung akin compared with the nike and accel Jackets. Note that the accel jacket was the one used in the 2005 sea games and the nike jacket was used at the 2007 Fiba Asia Championships. Yung adidas feeling ko di gagamitin sa mga international competitions.

Funny thing is that yung mga jackets na nasa collection na ito (El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Cameron, Guatemala etc. Basta yung kasabay ng release/wave nitong phil jacket ) and naka sale lahat sila sa HK Except Philippines. Yung Philippines lang talaga ang no more stocks.

Siguro kanya ginawang parang sepak takraw kasi di naman tayo mahilig sa soccer (except bacolod)

I think it's not the Adidas Philippines TT, it's one of Team Pacquiao's jackets with the same design. The Philippine flag etc...the logo at the left side is MP and at the back it says Team Pacquiao*okay*

well im dense27's bf, yeah ang sarap ng feeling na suot mo yung jacket.. as in grabe!!! wore it once first day ng training ko sa call cnter, my trainer told every one, guys look at his jacket its soo astig, and its not even out in the market yet.. then i went to an adidas store somewhere in the south, all the employees started to shout in excitement, "grabe!! ayun!! ayun yung phil jacket!!!" then nilapitan ako at tinanong kung san ko daw nakuha, pati yung mga naka lunch break lumabas sa liod nung store just to see the jacket.

kaninang umaga, binalikan ko yung store, tinanong ko if they already have the jackets, wala na daw at dinumog nga sila, i asked ilan ang stock nila, 6 lang daw, dein ko sure kung tama pagkadinig ko na 200 jackets lang ang nilabas dito sa pinas, i doubt it. pero guys its really nice!! proud to be pinoy!!!

actually last sept. 28 3 adidas original stores ( i'm not so sure if it's 3 or more stores launched the jacket but all of it was sold in just half a day. i try calling up adidas but they canm't give me a definite date when the stores will be having it again.

I've talked to people from different stores (Megamall and Rockwell), and they're supposedly expecting another shipment to arrive (either in November or December). I'm hoping, but not too much as I don't want to be disappointed again.

Yup,that's what I did. Truth be told ilang stores din ako nag-pareserve, malas lang siguro kasi sa mga store kung saan ako nagreserve, hindi dumating yung jackets. Tapos yung mga naabutan ko sa stores kung saan meron pa, panay L and XL na, so it wasn't like I wasn't trying, and I'm sure the same goes for other people. Nung nalaman kong lumabas na, nagpareserve na rin ako at umikot pa ako sa Gateway, Rockwell, Robinson's Galleria, Robinson's Place Manila, Podium (where I reserved first but they never got their stock), Shangri-La and Trinoma, yun nga panay L and XL ang meron. I guess some people are better at researching and anticipating the release, as I found out when I had made my reservation that some other people had actually had their reservations made 3 months in advance!

And my point is that despite the demand, the jackets are in an extremely limited supply, Judging from the number of people who want the jacket and the number who did get the jacket, taking your point that dapat nagpareserve na and everything, obviously hindi rin kayang abutin ng supply ang demand ng mga tao. Poor marketing research in my opinion. I agree with you, Basketball_Man, na dapat nga tumawag at magpareserve agad kung gusto talaga ang jacket. But the thing is, a lot of people did this (me included) and despite that kulang lang talaga yung supply at wala na kaming naabutan.

Anyway I hope that adidas will be able to release more of the jacket in the coming months.

Philippines Track Top is the only design in the country series that had sold out anywhere in the world where it has been released. The other designs even have to go On Sale just to attract the buyers. I've seen this first in some other thread where his PI jacket from the states at that time has been marked "Sample Only not for sale" on the tag. Then when Adidas released this on their site, I wanted to buy right away but their online shopping site doesn't seem to have international services. Then I saw it on ebay but only have bigger sizes...then after a few days I've found out that they've sold out on the adidas site and my friend from Cali which I also contacted told me that there were no Men's jackets on the Adidas Originals store there but they have the women's. And after a few weeks, my friend from Ontario told me that it has sold out in Canada in days. So I was losing hope but then I found one site which they will be having it soon and had it reserved, finally I got one!!! hehehe...then after 2 months, I got another one from Rockwell when I was just wasting some time. And as everybody has been really having a hard time looking for one, I saw another in The Block on display. After one day, it's gone...hehehe....really hope that Adidas would release again coz there are still a lot of Filipinos wanting to represent the country in style.

The adidas Originals store here is fully stocked with the men's edition. All the sizes are still available last time I checked (a few days ago).

Yup, better grab it while its still there. On a side note, once online stores confirm availability of the said jacket, you can count in a matter of hours before the regular sizes are all sold out. Di lang natin alam, how fast they would sell out in your place.

Both have good designs...if you like minimalistic designs, the women's are fine...pero if you really wanted to show your true color in style, go for the men's...

Yup,that's what I did. Truth be told ilang stores din ako nag-pareserve, malas lang siguro kasi sa mga store kung saan ako nagreserve, hindi dumating yung jackets. Tapos yung mga naabutan ko sa stores kung saan meron pa, panay L and XL na, so it wasn't like I wasn't trying, and I'm sure the same goes for other people. Nung nalaman kong lumabas na, nagpareserve na rin ako at umikot pa ako sa Gateway, Rockwell, Robinson's Galleria, Robinson's Place Manila, Podium (where I reserved first but they never got their stock), Shangri-La and Trinoma, yun nga panay L and XL ang meron. I guess some people are better at researching and anticipating the release, as I found out when I had made my reservation that some other people had actually had their reservations made 3 months in advance!

And my point is that despite the demand, the jackets are in an extremely limited supply, Judging from the number of people who want the jacket and the number who did get the jacket, taking your point that dapat nagpareserve na and everything, obviously hindi rin kayang abutin ng supply ang demand ng mga tao. Poor marketing research in my opinion. I agree with you, Basketball_Man, na dapat nga tumawag at magpareserve agad kung gusto talaga ang jacket. But the thing is, a lot of people did this (me included) and despite that kulang lang talaga yung supply at wala na kaming naabutan.

Anyway I hope that adidas will be able to release more of the jacket in the coming months.

I was finally able to get the jackets. My mother had a business trip and found them, in Singapore of all places! They had all the sizes from S to XL in multiple stocks. Buti nalang nagpunta siya dun. My mother was even able to buy two of the S size with no problem. Then a few weeks later I was able to buy the women's jacket for my girlfiend in Mall of Asia. I was actually surprised they still had stocks (they had one each of the size 32 and size 34).

So there's hope for people like me who weren't able to get the jacket when they were first released here in the Philippines. Try asking your friends/relatives/co-workers who live/are working/visiting overseas, even if it's a country other than the US, as it has been shown that these jackets are available in countries outside of the United States. Happy hunting!

beware of the immitaion jackets ha! i saw someone wearing it in trinoma. there has to be an adiddas original logo. also look out for the stripes. the space in between the three stripes (on the sleeves) are more or less the same width of the stripes themselves.

sa imitaion/FAKE jackets kasi the stripes are too far apart or are too thin.

also note the color. blue talaga *** ble ng jacket... not faded blue or pale blue.

I just paid for the jacket in advance yesterday just to be sure that it's already mine. I even went back to the adidas store after 2 hours and brought along my friend's sister who bought 3 more jackets for her, her bf and brother. Been waiting for this for a long time and I even made reservations from various adidas stores (trinoma, sm west, gateway, glorietta, rockwell) but got no info any of the shops till now. Thanks to ------- (hehehe!) adidas store who texted me every single day 5 days ago and told me that the release date would be tomorrow (03/28) at 10 am. It's gonna feel really good to wear this track top specially when i'm out of the country showing how proud I am to be a "Filipino". And FYI, the adidas peeps told me that they are not releasing any women's line for the track top. Sizes range from XXS to XXL.

That is true. Bukas available na ang mga Jackets. Kaya yung mga nagpa-reserve eh pumunta na kayo. Yung mga walk-in shoppers ay makakakuha lang kung may sobrang stock pang available.

pahirapan eto malabo maka kuha *** mga hindi naka pag pa reserve, sino may contact person sa inyo sa adidas? baka pede mag pa kuha ng jacket sa contact's nyo kahit na di naka pag pa reserve...I tried calling Adidas branches and marami talaga ang kumuha ng mga jackets, one branch even told me na hindi na daw muna sila mag lalabas dahil ng ka problem sa shipping. patulong na lang sa mga may contact's dyn o know a better way to acquire this jacket.

hmmm, I know some people from Adidas Phils. but I have yet to confirm kung binawasan na ang design, which I think is possible because of the massive production. If this is the case, I think I would have to cancel my reservations na lang, meron naman na ko nung first release eh.

Kami nga yung unang mga customer sa gateway kahapon. 9 am nandun na kame just to be sure. My other friend also bought 3 tracktops and it's selling like pancakes! 40 track tops were delivered sa gateway branch but when we went back more than 10 pieces na lang yung tira. The adidas people from alimall disappointed me so much (long story to tell) pero bumawi naman sila. I ended up getting mine sa gateway din. But at least I got my jacket. They even told me na dinumog daw talaga yung rockwell branch na tipong nag-aagawan ng yung mga customer's sa jacket. Pati daw mga artista nakikigulo! hahaha! Sa mga gusto pang bumili, try your luck sa alimall at gateway baka meron pa. Sa trinoma di lang ako sure. Spending 4595 on the jacket is worth it. Iba talaga yung feeling na suot mo yung jacket representing your country.

Sa april 1, ilalabas na sa public ang natitirang stocks ng Trinoma, Podium & Mega that is kung may maiiwan at hindi kinuha ng mga nagpa-reserve...
