Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, FEU-NRMF, at Fairview QC is something to be proud of...beside the facts that judy anne's aka siopao =P telenovela "sa puso ko'y iingatan ka"??! hhmmm... im not so sure about the title though...anyway, NRMF yun through and through! not to mention a rexona commercial (you know d girl doctor wearing orange and at d end of the commercial she met up with mark nelson, former host of KOD infront of the building with a metal title MEDICINE) and Regine and Aga's recent movie was also taken at the said site....just goes to prove that feu is not "bulok"....ok k, so what gives if all dis commercial mambo jumbos are taken der...it doesnt prove anything ryt?
WRONG! :taunt: FEU is proud of its Medical Technology and Nursing curriculums..ahhemm..nagtotop parati sa P.T.!!! Besides, FEU is among the top 5 schools when producing premium quality doctors and nurses are concerned...amen to that! :saint: sa mga ibang makababasa nito and they feel that they're offended in anyway...my sincerest apologies!!! im just establishing the fact that nde lang basta basta ang feu. The one thing i hate about feu is that they accept almost everyone during its entrance exams...that's where the term "bagsakan" can truly be applied. Sabi nga ng isang prof. namin, bakit kaya ganyan ang feu, 4000 students ang inaapply? (out of 7000) tapos bigla bigla nalang nila aalisin ang kalahati (or more) in a way... endangered YEP! you heard it right.The schl doesnt guarantee that you will be a med tech, nursing or pt student...well, not yet.:smile2skull: Let's take in consideration the medtech population...it currently appears that we have "unofficial" 700 med. tech studes...but after under going torture processes and tests the population would be cut to about 350 or so. laki ng bawas no? BWAHAHAHA :flog: best out of the rest kumabaga (can't say best of the best naman ryt?)... the rest dat unfortunately didnt made it...too bad :shrug:, hanap nalang ng ibang schls dyan or he/she can shift to another course. Those are the only options. And that's the important aspect that other schls doesn't know, that the PUBLIC WHOLE doesn't know..FEU clears it name and gets his way silently*** kaya pwede ba wag sabihing bagsakan ang feu!!! lakas ng apog nyo namn if you will. That's why many parents are complaining, "bakit nyo pa inadmit ang anak ko kung nde lang din naman sya magnunurse?!" or "magmemedtech?!" etc.. kulang nalang sabihin ng institution na mahina po kc ang anak nyo...kulang pa sa promil...hehehe masama ba? well that's the truth... we say that the truth hurts but also the truth shall set you free kaya PEACE*...but in every schl ders always a negative aspect... sa amin in a way parang, imean, TALAGANG pineperahan ng schl ang madla! kaya nga feu is called "the fastest earning university"...papatikman lang sayo na ok for 2 sems med tech ka (or any crse among med tech, nursing and pt) pero kung saka sakaling may mangyari na di inaasahan..

what we tamaraws displayed in this series was the greatest message we all want to convey and that is:

"to be against the FEU tamaraws in anything is not a walk in the park, and to meet us head on will be a hell of a ride. we are no push over and we are winners"

for how many years, ive never seen FEU students passionately cheer for the TAMS as we did this season specially in the finals, hats off to the players who gave it all out and to the loudly and wildy cheering crowd at the big dome and in their screens at home. i and a former classmate were outnumbered as we watched the game at the office and we had our heads up for we are proud of what we all showed! see you all next season.

lets all continue to work together for our mission: "to bring back the glory to where it truly belongs - FEU" is already within our reach!

Profile of Chief Justice Artemio V. Panganiban taken from www.supremecourt.gov.ph

Prolific Writer. Justice Panganiban is the concurrent chairperson of the Supreme Court (SC) Third Division and the House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal (HRET), as well as of seven SC committees involved mainly in judicial reforms. Described by a colleague (Justice Antonio T. Carpio) as “undoubtedly the most prolific writer of the Court, bar none,” he has during the last ten years penned more than 1,000 full-length decisions and ten books plus several thousand minute resolutions disposing of controversies. As Justice Romeo J. Callejo Sr. puts it, “One book a year and no cases left undecided. This is Mr. Justice Artemio V. Panganiban’s unsurpassed record. It is also the best summation of judicial reform.” Another colleague (Justice Angelina Sandoval-Gutierrez) lauds his preeminent judicial craftsmanship, social philosophies and literary style ....”

Diverse Subjects. Known for his pro-poor opinions, he has nonetheless spoken for the Court on a wide range of legal controversies touching on diverse subjects, like mathematics, economics, business, accounting, and even canon law. A much sought-after speaker, he has addressed audiences around the world on various subjects, including five lectures on the biosciences in two international fora held in Chile in 2004. Of his “mental dexterity,” Chief Justice Hilario G. Davide Jr. explains that Justice Panganiban “extricates the possible from the hypothetical, the emerging from the established, the literature in science and the law in art.”

Books. As his way of reporting on his magistracy, Justice Panganiban writes one book a year. As of November 2005, he has authored the following: Love God Serve Man; Justice and Faith (1997); Battles in the Supreme Court (1998); Leadership by Example (1999); Transparency, Unanimity & Diversity (2000); A Centenary of Justice (2001); Reforming the Judiciary (2002); The Bio Age Dawns on the Judiciary (2003); Leveling the Playing Field (2004); and Judicial Renaissance (2005).

Awards. He has been the recipient of over 200 awards and citations, including honorary doctoral degrees. Honorary membership in the Phi Kappa Phi International Honor Society (University of the Philippines Chapter) and in the Consular Corps of the Philippines have likewise been conferred upon him.

Some Past Activities. Prior to his appointment to the Supreme Court in 1995, Justice Panganiban had already distinguished himself as a practicing lawyer, law professor, Catholic lay leader and businessman. After three years as an assistant in the law office of his mentor, former Senate President Jovito R. Salonga, he formed his own law firm (Panganiban, Benitez, Parlade, Africa and Barinaga), which he headed until he joined the Supreme Court in 1995. (The law firm has now been dissolved.) He also taught law in three schools. He has been, among others, vice-president of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry; governor of the Management Association of the Philippines; president of the Philippine Daily Inquirer; and president of the Rotary Club of Manila. He was the only Filipino appointed by the late Pope John Paul II to the Pontifical Council for the Laity for the 1996-2001 term.

Education. In 1959, even prior to his graduation, he was named as the “most outstanding student” of Far Eastern University. After finishing his Bachelor of Laws degree cum laude in 1960, he placed sixth in the bar examinations of that same year. A popular campus figure, he was, among others, a founder and past president of the National Union of Students of the Philippines, and past president of the FEU Central Student Organization.

Humble Beginnings. Justice Panganiban graduated with honors from Juan Luna Elementary School and Mapa High School, which are both public schools. To support his studies, he hawked newspapers, peddled cigarettes and shined shoes in the streets of Sampaloc in Manila. During his college days, he sold textbooks to his classmates and bibles to his professors and university officials. The youngest of four children, he was born from impoverished parents who died while he was still in school. But he finished his studies with the support of his elder siblings.

Family. He is married to Elenita C. Panganiban, professor and former associate dean at the Asian Institute of Management, with whom he has five children who all hold graduate degrees from pedigreed US universities, including Harvard, Stanford, University of California, University of Chicago, University of Michigan and Boston University.

Dr. Francisco Dalupan (PCCB founder – now UE) was a very close friend of Dr. Nicanor Reyes, Sr. (Institute of Accountancy – now FEU) way back when they were teaching at the Department of Economics at the University of the Philippines. Dr. Dalupan helped Dr. Reyes in establishing FEU. When Dr. Reyes died, Dr. Dalupan dreamed of building his own school and was inspired of FEU’s success in the pre-war and post-war years. That is why when PCCB was granted university status in 1951 the board of trustees of PCCB decided to pattern its name to FEU’s trend of embracing the term “East” to its university name as the present day “University of the East.” In reality it did became a success in UE’s part as FEU’s no.1 competitor in the U-belt. During the 1960s they had a joint enrolment of about 100,000 students, which from then on were cut down as they built satellite campuses outside of Manila.

There were times during CPA and Bar exams in the 50s and 60s both UE and FEU would dominate the top 10. They share professors and students. When I was in FEU-FERN college in Diliman, my professor in humanities Dr. Urate (one of the best) who use to be a part time professor in FERN and at the same time a regular professor in UE manila. When I took graduate studies at the FEU manila, among my best and brightest classmates came from UE.

So I think, although FEU and UE are rival schools, they have this very distinct connection. People know that they both have distinguished schools of discipline and specializations. Both of them possess Centers of Development and Centers of Excellence in specific areas. And it’s a great thing to know that FEU and UE formed the Inter-
University Cooperation for Community-based Urban Renewal (IUCCURE) in 2003.

And if FEU and UE didn’t exist, I think college education would have been quite boring at least in my part. MABUHAY ang buong SILANGANAN!

By the way, East Asia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of FEU. The FEU College of Engineering and the East Asia College of Computer Studies now constitute the FEU-East Asia College.

And we did fatal arguments,,at yung isa sa mga tamaraws pinersonal na ako, eh sino ba naman ang hindi magagalit sa ganun diba?

pau2xxx hindi ko alam kung paano mo binigyang kulay ang sinabi ko pero "it was absurd". BTW I am not offering friendships "everbody's here are my friends" I've learned this thought from watching Barney sana manuod ka rin ng Barney hehehe.....Buti pa yung isa mong co-Tamaraws sinagot yung hinihingi kong sagot....I don't mean to offend you this way...i hope you understand.

You were protesting about what i've posted their at "UE Powerfull thread" so i just did what you were looking for.
