I'm just new here.

I just want to ask your comment about the issue that Mr. Clean of Perpetual Cheering Squad is already 27 when he competed last year's CDC. That is a violation of the rules of the competition. Maximum age is only 25 years old.

I am not representing any schools here, I am representing the whole NCAA because I just want to have a fair treatment to all. For me, maybe we can adopt the action that was imposed to Lasalle and PCU on basketball. Suspension. This is a clear implication that some really don't follow rules as long as they are not caught.

I hope that this would be brought up to MANCOM and review the ground rules. If proven, they should take action on this. This is not all about cheerleading, this is school's credibility.

Please no violent reactions.

WAY TO GO NCAA!

If thats true they really do deserve a suspension. I do agree with you ,its not just about cheering or winning its about playing fair. The essence of the NCAA is to foster camaraderie and enhancing the school spirit through sports and cheating should really be prohibited. I am not against UPHD I am against cheating and being unfair. But we are ready to hear the UPHD's side.... Arriba Letran!:bop:

I think disqualification of the entire team is too harsh. or suspension of the entire team, i think even the surrendering of the awards is too harsh. penalize sure, but we have to consider the contribution he made to the team, if it is enough to cause an imbalance in the competition then a harsher punishment must be made but it should be commensurate. I still think their performance is FAR above than the other competition.

But then again degree of equality should be taken into resolve. We'll see.

I think that any sanction should fit the violation. In this case, it's almost similar to over-aged players in the basketball tourney. So a suspension of the squad is a better punishment rather than all the athletes of UPHDS. That is if the news here is reliable. ;)
