Well, a number of male models who show up at advertising campaigns and commercials are short. Maybe not too many are 5'6", but they definitely are below the industry standard (5'10" ++). So I guess, yes.

However, if your benchmark of being "model-y" is based on the runway guys you see at fashion shows, then my answer is "it will be hard." Truth is, the taller you are, the better clothes fall on you, because there's a lot of room for the clothes to groove, so to speak.

if you want to add 3-4 inches to your height try Bradford Shoes located at SM Mall of Asia and SM North Edsa The Block, they carry very stylish shoes with Addheight Tech. Their shoes really make you taller instantly yet looks just like ordinary shoes. I'm 5'10" but no one really knows i'm just 5'6.5 hehe

^ we now know your secret then? hehe

it's possible for short guys to look good. i think its just how you carry yourself that will make the big difference. if you feel good about yourself and what you're wearing, then it will definitely show.

that's what i do bro. 5'6" lang din ako. and you have to know how to pick clothes. good luck sa'tin!

yup. and you have to have attitude! ;)

this is important kasi it will help you a lot. whatever you wear, basta you have to have a lot of attitude.

so there are my advices:
1) know how to carry yourself well
2) know how to pick clothes that suits you
3) attitude

No.

In pictures or on video, maybe. But IRL, I don't think so.

you can have the "attitude", you can wear the best clothes and carry it well, but IT WILL NEVER add inches (in this case, 5 inches) to your height.

Don't be buff and all muscular. Just try to look like you have something other than bones and skin.

BTW being skinny doesn't translate to having no sex appeal. Sex appeal is about hormones.

Kung panget ka, there's nothing much you can do with it but carry yourself with an atitude everytime you go out.

Confidence is a better term, you need to wear the clothes not the clothes wearing you. You have to be comfortable in the clothes you wear.

Basta kailangan tama ang sukat ng mga damit mo para hindi ka mag-mumukang pandak.

no one said that without height you look bad agad.

the key word is modely... may comparison kasi between the 5 6 and the 5 10 boy.
