Mapua Cardinals are peeking on the right time..they have now won 3 in a row...a contending team that plays like a basketball team is the Cards itself..remember Jose Rizal University last year ?, they started out slow and in a sudden they started to play like a team,alas, it was too late,,and then they carried it on from various College Tournaments.. I posted August 9 that if Mapua get past San Sebastian..they will will be in the final four and will win it all !!, sounds crazy? ...no it's not !...I know and everyone knows that Mapua will have to go through San Beda to win it..hey....Mapua's loses were all heartbreaking defeats..they could have been easilly be 9 - 2..Cardinals beat Letran in a convincing win..it only means that Mapua is capable of beating the Red Lions because they are peeking on the right time....sure San Beda humilliated the Cardinals in the first and second round,after that ..the Cardinals learned how to play to win !!!..well..I still believe it will be Mapua in the Finals not San Beda !! because upset is in the making..... I said it again..Mapua will squeezed itself in the fourth slot and will give the Lions the roar of defeat in first round playoff !! .... VIVA MAPUA !!!!

i agree with you asinine, Mapua could easily have obtained a better record, it was probably because they have a new system and coach that they didn't. Well I hope we win against CSB first..then we can say our team is ready.

And yet we still get to balance everything -- including making it up in the FINAL FOUR of the NCAA. And I agree that being in the Final Four is already an achievement! We keep our fingers crossed in this Wednesday's match.

As an observer of long time basketball games..sometimes the record doesnt speak for itself when it comes to playoff games, it's all back to zero-zero record ..although in this play off ,the top two teams are ahead by one game...most coaches prefer how their team peaked during the course of the regular season and ready for the playoff....most NCAA coaches and observers will prolly agree with me.....San Beda has a very deep bench and almost the same caliber of players they had from the championship team last year..To be honest with yah..there's so much pressure on the Bedan team right now..last year they almost lost it at 55-51 during semi finalit still fresh from the Bedan's mind )..Mapua has the distinction of playing very very well when the stakes are high...again I am talking about Mapua and San Beda..I don't know and I'm not in doubt how Mapua will fare well against the same hungry team like Letran and JRU. These two teams have different emotions ( Letran and JRU ) when it comes to playoff..I'm not sure which team wanted an early vacation and get it over with ( playoff )....one thing I am sure of, The Cardinals wanted it so bad.
