yeah maganda basketball program ng St Francis
but I don't think they'll qualify in terms of the student population requirement in the NCAA
and involvement of the other sport programs.

As for CEU, tinging ko they'll join the UAAP instead of the NCAA coz over qualified sila in terms of student population.

UA&P - the school would somehow add glamour to the league like what st. benilde had done before. i'm just quite afraid na bka pati yung sports program nila and their audience wud be so like csb's (no offensive)

CEU - kahit na they are pending in UAAP, ok na rin sila. i think they have a athletic program and they'll have strong audience

PUP - like UAAP, iba pa rin kapag may STATE U na kasama.. besides i think they are the other MATATAPANG AT MATATALINO like UP.. peo i'm a bit skeptical baka i-bully lang sila ng rich schools sa NC.

but for me, NCAA should not think of adding schools first. If they are to do it, i suggest remove a school then add. ****** kasing siksikan if maging 9 or 10 schools ang kasali.

in fairness to NU, malakas din ang team nila sa UAAP...lage silang dark horse to win the championship every UAAP season...malakas ang NU squad, nawawalan *** ng diskarte as the regular season goes on...pero lageng considered as contender for the crown ang bulldogs...

At ang academic program naman nila...i think the had the best engineering curicullum in the Philippines before.....before that new years day fire incident burned their main building and their aacademic program to ashes....damay na din pati sports program...kasi before that fire *** late 90's early 00's umaabot pa sa final four ang NU...

And I do agree with batang bulldog, EKWE is the main reason why SBC won their last 2 championship crowns...kasi the year prior to their 2006 campaign, they are dead last sa standings, nung sina aljamal, menor, angeles, et al palang ang nasa lineup....then Ekwe came and the Lions took a 180 degree turn....

If i were to choose 2 schools to be added to the NCAA, then it'll have to be PUP and RTU, taking into consideration all the other sports that is not named basketball...

Kung basketball lang naman kasi, then the two obvious choices would be Arellano U and STI.

Can't take DLSU right now because of their bad record/reputation in the UAAP.. siguro in a few years pa, and ADMU would want to be where DLSU is because I think they need each other. Kaya tingin ko UP and UST would be better. Both are solid and bigger institutions.

But outside UAAP schools, I like CEU and Silliman University (pwede ba mga schools sa Cebu?). UA&P is too small to produce a competitive basketball team and their population I think is much smaller too. Baka kahit umabot sila sa Finals at dumalo lahat ng current students and buong alumni nila eh baka hindi pa nila mapuno yung kalahati ng araneta or yung side nila.. hehe.jk. But I may be wrong.. how big is UA&P?

I think the reason why CEU is still on waiting list of UAAP, my friend told me (currently studying at CEU) that CEU's basketball program is not that SO GOOD, kulelat daw CEU sa liga nila. Probably UAAP is searching for a very competitive team (I don't know if that's a requirement or there's no available slot for a new member). But IMHO CEU might be a rampaging team if ever they could join NCAA or UAAP.

OT: CEU, Arellano, and especially STI. But STI needs to be a University be able to join UAAP.
