4 the boys: Do you also feel ugly inside the fitting rooms? what do you see?

i dont know if you guys also experience this. ako almost lagi... i feel ugly inside fitting rooms ... kaya minsan kakawala gana bumili ng clothes. but when you get home , ok naman. weird... sometimes i would try pants, then i would look short. or when i try tshirts, i would look fat... weird...suddenly i have lots of issues. i just feel ugly inside fitting rooms (esp. topman, fnh, tyler, rustans) ..........is it the mirror? does it make you fat or short? does it make you ugly?

hindi sa pagmamayabang... im not even ugly to begin with.

i just know what fits and what doesn't. maybe it's the harsh light in the fitting rooms that makes you feel that way.

yeah is true. i look better when i fit the clothes a home. when i try them at the shops...i always end up not buying anything. kaya nga i dont fit the clothes na. swertehan nalang ... most of the time i would look pudgy and short in the fitting room mirrors.

Hahaha, weird. Actually it's the exact opposite sa akin. Pag fitting room ng mga shops, parang mas magandang tingnan overall (how the clothes I try fit my body well), kaysa pag uwi ko sa bahay at saka ko isusuot uli. Baka dahil mas pangit lang yung salamin ko sa bahay, hehe.

That's true. Parang todo ang lighting effects sa mga fitting rooms para maencourage tayo na bilhin agad ang anumang nifit natin :lol:

Some stores use skinny mirrors in the fitting rooms so that you look better.

when i started going to the gym and then became buff... i noticed that i hate seein myself trying clothes inside the dressing rooms. i look too wide... i dunno. my top looks too wide... or am i just trying a size too small. hehehe.

i hate it when my nipples sticks out. even if its a nice shirt, i wont buy it when it enables my nipples to protrude.

I always try clothes on before buying them. Ayokong magsisi when I find out it fits all wrong because of the company's weird sizing.

i hate the fitting room lightings. it accentuates your flaws esp. flabs...hehehe

^ not to mention they (lightings) somehow affect the color of whatever you are trying. i once bought a red shirt from some store and i realized when i got home that it is not anywhere near red - it was screaming pink pink pink.

oohh... maybe it depends on your built? i don't think i look ugly in the fitting rooms. if you don't trust the fitting room, go outside the fitting room and look for another mirror and position yourself farther from it. For example, F&H always have a bigger mirror near the fitting room. Topman has one too. Even PrP. I think all of them has one. It's better to look on those mirrors because fitting rooms seem to be too cramped

urbane: agree ako na some shops have those mirrors that are cut "pabilog" w/c makes you look thinner and taller.saka oo,nabasa ko din,those fitting rooms talaga are for FITTING lang,tapos,you have to get out of it and look on the mirror pag nakalabas kana.(dapat may distansiya para di ka titingin pababa na nagreresulta ng kapangitan o di mgandang bagsak ng damit..)ayun,sana nakatulong.
