Beware of teen on-line Havaianas scammer CLARISSA DELA CRUZ

I am the moderator of MEG's Friendster Circle account, and I got this email of concern from one of our stylists. I'm reposting it here to warn off other PEX fashionistas who frequently buy the latest stuff on-line. I discovered this scandal is already all over Multiply and Friendster. According to the "Beware of SCAMMERS" thread in the Clothes & Accessories for sale forum, nagbebenta din dito si Clarissa, pero di ko alam *** Pex-name nya dito. Kaya ingat na lang!


I only copied paste this from an email and i checked it for myself, I could not believe because this girl is so famous here dahiul sa pagyayabang nya na marami syang havaianas.

Age: 18 and hanggang ngayon high school pa rin sa Chiang Kai Shek college, kasi ilang beses na bumagsak (accdng from her barchmates.

What happened: she scammed evrybody by opening a pre order havaianas album lAT DEC 2006. almost evrybody daw ordered and paid in full. they trusted her kasi she posted na RICH KID. hindi naman pala. panu pinost nya dun yung laptop na kunyari nabili nya, yun pala hindi sa kanya yun. pero sabi nya sa kanya, sa boyfriend nya pala daw yun sabi ng mga taga multiply.com. between January to April bili ng bili sa stellar01.multiply.com and sa baublesbangleandbeads.multiply.com pati na rin sa crilescrib.multiply.com, tapos libo libo talaga mga transactions nya doon... you can ask those refered website, meron silang mga contact details dun sa mga website nila. tapos mga bandang April, nangutang daw ng Gcash na 300.00 kay joan7.multiply.com and grabe daw, duguan na sya bago masingil. ngayon yung Joan7.multiply.com ini-scam nya rin kasi umorder din daw ng havaianas na 3 pair and ang total 2,200. biro mo Dec 2007 hanggang ngayon wala pa yung havaianas, ang daming alibi ng bata na to. tapos isa na nga yung joan7 sa biktima nya ng havaianas na di pa dumarating, hinihiraman nya pa ng 20,000. kakaiba.... nagiisip na ba ang batang ito o talagang meh sayad? tingin mo phihiramin ka pa ng mga taong na-scam mo? you can also ask Chynna Ortaleza sa stellar01.multiply.com. I've talked to the parents of Clarissa, They have no money to pay us, they're also average people. Though this is not the first time Clarissa has issues about money. They were shocked when me and lovely got there. They didn't expect that big sum of money. (Lovely 29,300 , Cariza 47,925). Since lovely is from nueva ecija, i agreed to pay her first since she traveled pa to get there. So on my part, compromise nlng.so meet half way nlng ***. Nakakaawa kc lagi nlng nila nililinis *** kalat ni clarissa. Naku grabe baka one day, baon na *** sa utang dahil ke Clarissa.

Facts:

She's 18yrs old, 3rd yr HIGH SCHOOL student of CKSC (Chiang Kai Shek College)

Since Grade 4 / 8yrs old pa c clarissa ganun na. every year may pumupunta sa bahay nila at maniningil nlng daw kc may utang c clarissa s taong yun. minsan 8,000 etc

Its NOT TRUE na BINUBUGBOG *** ng parents nya. napapalo siya paminsan dahil kasalanan rn nya kc sumasagot *** s parents nya, mga utang, mga gulo na pinapasok nya sa school.

She reported her Parents sa Bantay Bata 163. Grabe! THE NERVE isumbong, to think Favorite *** ng tatay nya. binigay nmn ng tatay kung ano hingiin nya except of course kpg sobra na. pinapakain nmn *** ng maayos. may parents *** at grandparent na minamahal ***. pero talgang tong c clarissa may sayad na ata at hindi nya na-aapreciate un.

Her dad gave her 5000HKD according her grandma, her dad gave the money to clarissa pambili ng cellphone. GUESS WHAT?! walang cellphone na nabili. hindi nila alam kung saan nya nilagay *** pera.

Sabi rin ng parents nya pinatingin na nila yan sa psychiatrist! pero hindi talga magbago-bago.

SHE DELETED US (PEOPLE WHO HAVNT RECEIVED THEIR REFUNDS) in her Contact list. --> kaya puro POSITIVE lang nakalagay dun... the PATHOLOGICAL LIAR/PROFESSIONAL CON ARTIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worried, I reposted it in MEG's Friendster bulletin board to warn our other readers. That same day, two of our readers wrote in with their own traumatic experiences with Clarissa.


I and my freinds were victimized by
Clarissa. The news broke 2nd week of
July pa. She swindled a lot of
money from me and my friends and a lot
more from other Multiply users. She's
pnly 18 but she has done a crime.

Sabi daw kasi nila wala daw siyang
pang gastos sa luho niya and
kinokompetensiyahan nya mga friends
nya who are obviously way richer than
her.

Now her parents are facing the scammed
victims. They said they will refund
money but up to now i have received no
refund. Maybe they don't have enough
money.

This one story of a girl who is
obviously spoiled rotten and need
medical attention fast. Accdg to her
parents she was like this way before.
Even when she was still little.

Dear Chantal, so sad the warning came
too late for you and your friends.
Actually, it was one of our stylists
who was victimized and she called our
attention to this "CLARISSA". Though
she confronted the parents (Clarissa
was either not in the house or hid
from her), she was not able to recover
the whole amount Clarissa owed her.
Apparently, Clarissa has swindled so
many
other persons and this wasn't the
first time her parents were forced to
pay for their daughter's crimes.

Have you tried tracking down exactly
where she lives? Maybe you can also
talk to her parents. Bring with you
all your communication with her
(printout of emails and messages or
text mesaages or bank receipts) as
evidence.

Tell your parents or another trusted
adult about what happened to you.

You can also file a complaint with the
police or NBI. She's already 18 years
old, an adult, and she has to be
taught a lesson before she grows
worse.

If anyone else has been victimized by
Clarissa, speak up! Let's warn our
other readers about her.

Hi pami wami, thank you for sharing
your story with us. Have you exerted
effort in trying to get your money
back? Have you talked to your parents
(or another trusted adult about this?
Have you attempted to track down
Clarissa's parents and confront them?
You should keep all evidence of
communication or transactions with her
like emails, messages, texts and bank
receipts just in case you many need to
have her blottered/arrested by the
police/NBI.

Have you reported her to the
administrators in Multiply? Clarissa's
profile,
www.entrepreneurssite.multiply.com is
still up and running, so many
potential victims are still at risk.
That's the most practical thing to do
right now. At the very least, your bad
experience with this Clarissa won't be
in vain.

Two nights ago, a classmate of CLARISSA from Chang Kai Shek College wrote to MEG's Friendster Circle account. I reposted it here with her permission just to warn others about her PATHOLOGICAL LIAR/CON ARTIST classmate. She tells a disturbing profile of this young scammer/rich kid-poser.


Masama na talaga ang ugali nitong si Clarissa kahit dati pa. SINUNGALING yan at mahilig MAGYABANG ng bagong gamit na un pala galing sa pera ng mga niloko nya sa internet. Pero hindi na kami naniniwala kay Clarissa kasi imposible *** mga kwento nya, na kesa binibigyan daw sya ng bagong cellphone at laptop ng boyfriend nya tuwing monthsary. E estudyante lang din *** bf nya, paano naman un magkakaroon ng ganung kalaking pera? Alam naman namin dito sa school na di mayaman ang pamilya nya. Tapos, pag nalaman *** pagsisinungaling nya, gagawa sya agad ng alibi, sablay naman kaya di na lang namin sya pinapansin. KSP at mapagpanggap talaga itong si Clarissa.

Ilang beses na rin nasugod yan at ang magulang nya sa kanilang bahay dahil sa mga utang nya sa mga kaklase namin. Libo-libo din ang utang nyan kahit dati. Pinagtatakpan lang ng magulang nya kahit madalas wala rin silang perang pangbayad.

18 na sya pero 3rd year high school pa rin kasi madalas syang bagsak.

Anyway... before I reposted this in our Friendster account (MEG) and here in Pex and also in Ebay.ph, I verified this matter first. Syempre, di naman fair kung paninira lang pala ito. When I spoke to our stylist who got duped and googled "Clarissa dela Cruz", "scammer" and "Havaianas", daming lumabas na reklamo tungkol sa kanya. Then, within the same day I reposted this in MEG's bulletin board in Friendster, meron nang nag-reklamo about Clarissa. The next day, sarili niyang kaklase sa Chang Kai Shek nagsabi na estafador na pala si Clarissa kahit dati pa.

So sad for her parents though... :( Where will they get money to pay their daughter's enormous debts???

hey, i was one of em victims, ordered 6 pairs of havs that cost me 5,409.00. I paid half last dec 2006 and was told that it would arrive feb. And then it was postponed and moved march because the supplier didn't give an update yet. And all of us who ordered kept waiting and waiting. Kring of gallerylacornucopia in multiply informed us that sure na daw *** dating ng havs ng April. So we need to pay the full amount since the havs are SURELY coming.

April came, NOTHING. I already asked for a refund several times, but Kring always assured me na dadating because apparently, her supplier, Candee aka Clarissa is waiting for her supplier to give her an update. So here goes the run around. I couldn't take it any longer and told her, if they do not refund, we will course legal action. I guess Candee got scared when Cariza Sy (who knew her) went to her parents house and complained what Candee did. The parents agreed to pay the refunds. (AT LAST!) And thank god the ordeal with this scammer has come to an end!! At least for me. I got a post dated check amounting to 5,409 and was able to encash it fortunately. (thinking it may bounce)

This is her karma. No friends, family hates her, nobody will ever trust her. :angry: :grrr:

More or less aabot na ng P200,000+ ang total nyang utang. Grabe!! Hanggang ngayon di ako makapaniwala na 18 years old kayang makagawa ng BIG-TIME ESTAFA tulad ni Clarissa.

UPDATE: Wala pa ring postdated checks si Chantal at Pami kahit na nagpunta sila sa bahay ni Clarissa. Sabi ng magulang nya bumalik na lang sila sa December o January. Wala na daw talaga silang perang pangbayad. *** mga Havaianas ni Clarissa binigay na daw nila sa ibang biktima kaya naubos na rin. *** stylist naman namin (Kimmy) nabigyan ng apat na post-dated checks na P7,500 each per month starting September, buti di naman nag-bounce.

CKSC is also aware of the wrong doings. deadma na *** daw sakanila. hinihintay na *** nila na umalis ng kusa si clarissa sa school. if ever they will expell clarissa, tatanggapin pa rin siya ng ibang school para mgdagdagan lang ang population ng lilipatan nyang school.

Wala pang final count kung magkano talaga ang total na nagancho ni Clarissa, but this is (so far) her biggest victims:

UPDATE: Wala pa ring postdated checks si Chantal at Pami kahit na nagpunta sila sa bahay ni Clarissa. Sabi ng magulang nya bumalik na lang sila sa December o January. Wala na daw talaga silang perang pangbayad. *** mga Havaianas ni Clarissa binigay na daw nila sa ibang biktima kaya naubos na rin. *** stylist naman namin (Kimmy) nabigyan ng apat na post-dated checks na P7,500 each per month starting September, buti di naman nag-bounce.

According to one of the victims, nag-coordinate na sila at mga lawyers nila sa mga tao sa Imbestigador. Di ko alam with XXX.

Mag-file na rin sila ng kaso for ESTAFA (swindling/fraud) sa Regional Trial Court sa Manila.

Dapat talaga maturuan na ng leksyon ang batang yan. Pati magulang nya... grabe, pag nagsalita daw sila (according to the victims), parang sila pa ang biktima. Mahilig pa daw magmura! Nyark!! Sila na nga dapat maging humble dahil sa pinagagagawa ni Clarissa.

pumunta c pau sa bahay ni clarissa today. nandoon c clarissa pero wala yung magulang. tumawag pero *** nanay ni clarissa na mgiissue sila ng post-dated checks for pau and tin. pero walang date kung kelan ito maibibigay. babalik ulet si pau bukas para kunin *** mga post dated checks(siguro **** it won't take a day to write an amount on the check db?). at gumagawa si pau at ang abogado nya ng kasulatan na nangangakong babayaran siya ni clarissa. i think clarissa signed it. (not confirm pero im sure clarissa/parents of clarissa/grandparents of clarissa will sign it) matakot sila kasi pau emailed someone na from the media about this matter. bait nga ni pau e, **** nya ayucn as much as possible outside court or without media.

takot naman *** magulang ni clarissa na ma-imbestigador at ma-xxx. ayaw din nila umabot sa korte. kaya inaareglo o binabayaran nila lahat ng utang ni clarissa.
