Could someone please provide me with an updated list of CHED's COEs and CODs?

The list they have on their website is extremely outdated (It says "As of February 2001")

JPMaglutac

The way I understand it, (which is really, gramatically, what it means) it says the last time they updated was February 2001....

And even if I'm wrong, I know that APC is a COE in IT Education, and yet it doesn't say that on the site; Therefore, it's not updated... :P

O, diba you have the list as of 2001. Then there are memos sa CHED website for the declared centers in the following years. Combine them and

Voila!

PS. Please post the updated list din here. Yey!

PPS. Thing lang is I dont think you can classify which is the CoE and CoD. But I think you could research on them pero it requires more data, but I think theres enough on the internet for the major universities.

CHED issues COD and COE every 6 years. Math and science courses are the first to be released this year. Engineering, Business, Accounting and others are due this year. We might have the new list in a few months.

On another note, UST has only 2 COE/COD for math and basic science courses. What is happening ? Pre med courses in UST hindi man lang COD. Sayang naman kung pababayahan. Medicine and Nursing are COEs. Good pero sana lahat ng science course.

imposing 300% tuition fee increase while their facilities did not improve, letting their professors leave for call centers, harping arguments with no factual basis at all, trying to impress everyone with their loooooong but shallow arguments which obviously contain several grammatical errors.

harping arguments with no factual basis at all

Few people outside of UP are qualifed to judge? That's just my theory.

Actually there're a lot of eyebrow raisers with UP. One is the disproportionate budget allocation to UP vis a vis the other state colleges and universities. One explanation: there are far more UP graduates in the lower house and Senate than from any other school, private or public. That's life. :D

But the corrupt ones also have their good moments:

Instigated two people power revolutions
Best energy development program in Asia (at the time of Marcos that is).
Most foreign-trained PhDs whether on academic scholarship or through bilateral agreements between local gov't agencies and donor countries
6.9% GDP growth in 2006
7-year high for the Peso (I know it's a global thing but OFW remittances helped and that came with governement sanction/assistance).

So we are reponsible for both the good and the bad, if this thought train of yours is to remain logical. Lest you people forget. ;)

Philippines - The Most Corrupt in Asia

Majority of the people manning the doomed-government came from one institution. Go figure. Tsk Tsk Tsk.

This was proven inaccurate by the firm itself.:) Well, most corrupt Filipino officials would be guilty of course. But in general, the Philippines-is-the-most-corrupt-in-Asia conclusion is a big mistake.

The last time I checked, the Philippines has 86 million in its population. Are you one of those who depend too much on the government? who work a little and complain a lot?..

As if the moment the products of "another institution" dominate the government, the future will be brighter for the Philippines. Well, everyone can lead by example (lalo na yung behavior and manners:D ). And you don't have to actually take part in politics to act for the country.

kaya black beauty kayo eh, kasi lagi kayong nasa lansangan...heheheh....

proud na proud ka na sa 6.5 %, compare that to our neighbors in asia, baka di mo alam sinasabi mo...

I think its sad that people dont know the situation surrounding mobilizations, militant parties, communists, etc. Ayan, I know some people here will brand me as a communist or whatever (for the record, my orientation's libertarian socialist) pero dapat may tamang background yung mga sinasabi natin, may tamang historical, social, and political na facts na nagpapatunay sa mga tinatalak. As far as I know, and what history shows us, yung changes na nagaganap sa atin galing sa mga taong ito na nagbabantay, lumalaban. I'm not saying puede yung ibang ideology nila (parts of it, I would say yes), its just compared to a lot of other guys, sila na may pinaka-kwenta. I've thought about this. If people would compare yung different actors sa political arena, sila na yung may pinaka-sense. So anyway, I just would like to say na before people judge or say senseless things, think about what's really true. For the most part, walang nangyayari sa bansa natin dahil sa isang apathetic, misinformed or uninformed citizenry. We only deserve the government that we have if we dont make people accountable. So lets change that!

And secondly, related din sa sinabi ko sa taas, its unfair to attribute yung status ng bansa to one institution only.

PS. And bago nga kayo tumalak tungkol sa philosophy (and theology), bago kayo magphilosophize, puede some logic muna. :rotflmao:

I think the Faculty of Pharmacy (the only pharmacy school accredited at Level-4 in the philippines) had already been assessed as COE last month, July 2007 right? along with Medical Technology. While Business Administration were elevated to COE after being COD for years. I'll ask later if they already received confirmation on this.

These were COD for quite sometime now, way back 1998 pa I wonder why aren't they elevated to coe yet?

These are the new kids on the block on UST's list, if I am correct these programs were assessed also last month, July 2007 after CHEd Technical panel visited ust last month also.

*COE and COD are granted Autonomous Staus per Ched Memorandum order #32

Do they still grant a million pesos for each COE program accredited? These funds are intended for sustaining faculty development, reseach and facilities upgrade.

IMHO, ust-PT and OT should by now be accredited as COE but since CHED has not declared anyone as such yet then I won't say anything.

^^^ Guys cite nyo mga sources nyo (like memo from the CHED or press release from the school or newspaper articles)... Yung COE and COD may time frame yan, nageexpire and then may new list ulit coming from the CHED...

Yung pinaka bagong memo na nirelease ng CHED para sa COE and COD is for IT and Science/Mathematics (base sa CHED website).

Wala pa sa ibang courses, so yung mga nakapost sa itaas claiming COE or COD status for Engineering, Business and Social Sciences, malamang base yan sa old list.. :D

How many more years do you need para maging number one?
