Hi people!!!! Gosh! ang tagal kong nawala noh? ang hirap kasi ng internet signal ko sa L.A. pag naman computer dun sa pamangkin ko, hindi ako makasingit....and i guess, alam nyo na, im sick again! :( siguro, yung weather din dito, plus pa nag-swim ako sa malamig nung easter, siguro, nabigla yung katawan ko....balak ko pa naman kayo i-greet ng happy easter, kahit daan lang ako dito, tsk, tsk, tsk. bwisit talaga! naging sakitin na ako!? :( on and off na for three days ang fever ko... anyway, may katalinuhan nalang akong ginawa dito sa New Jersey. nasa bahay na kasi ako ng kuya ko dito. so, para naman makasingit ako sa internet dito ng isa ko pang adik na pamangkin sa internet, eh sabi ko, mula sa page na hindi ko pa nababasa, i-copy nya lahat hanggang sa end sa word para mabasa ko lahat na hindi masyadong nastre-strain ang mata ko. (kasi lalo akong nahihilo at nagkaka-fever pag nakatitig sa comp at tv) at sabi ko sa kanya, babayaran ko nalang sya ng 50dollars, hehehehehe! :) ganyan ko ka-love ang PEX, napagastos pa ako ng di oras para lang mabasa ko lahat!

anyway, kahit na super delayed na ito....BELATED HAPPY EASTER!!! Sana naman nag-mass kayo... i enjoyed my easter in L.A. Although halos mamatay-matay na ang mga paa ko sa tagal kong nakatayo dahil hindi kami nakaabot ng seats sa dami ng tao, eh naka-heels pa lola nyo! afetr that nag-gym kami ng aking HONEY, tapos nag-swimming. Night time, nagpa-manicure kaming mga babae sa isang taiwanese nail spa, na hindi naman magaling sa cleaning, hehe! :) the next day, nag-mall kami to find hollister, tapos natigil ako sa bath and body, naku po! naka-258 dollars ako! fave ko kasi yun eh...hay! at pigil na pigil pa yun ha? kasi ayaw ko na gumastos sana talaga...tapos ang bigat pa kaya ng candles, pati mga lotion, body wash, body cream.....lahat lahat na!!!!! wah! :)

bago pa ako ma-discon (madalas kasi dito sa house ng kuya ko ang disconnection kaya nga it took my niece forever bago matapos ang PEX copy-paste eh!), am going to answer you guys na...

you love bath and body? dag you spend a lot on your little girly things. if you are really into candles you should check out a store called illuminations (not sure if there's one in jersey), i used to work at the one near where i live, and they have the best candles ever! they're one of the first pioneers for high quality candles and the scents are too die for, ranging from the mood setters to scents that smell like real food! ahaha it's a bit pricey but they're worth the money because they last a long time as well just as long as you know how to take care of them (proper lighting instructions and junx). they sell home decors as well so check them out when you find the time www.illuminations.com

kixee:neighbor!!! hehe=) kasi i live in reseda too!!!sherman way st.. kayo? ask ko lang if you dont mind=) kaya pala twice na kita nakikita dito.. the first one was in northridge mall..last november nga, sa may food court, i was eating with my siblings bigla ka dumaan...andun din family mo, medyo paalis na kayo nun.. you were texting while walking...=) hehe.. the next one was last easter sunday nga...sa st. joseph church..nakwento mo din dito (dun kami church ever since the beginning of time, my cousins graduated from st. joseph school) you were coming out of the 9:30-11:00 mass, while we were looking for a parking space for the 11:30 mass...napabuti pa na maaga kami, kasi nga expected na walng mauupuan, we got to see you pa! nakakatuwa nga kasi the both times i saw you, lagi ko sinasabi "uy,, pretty girl, kamukha ni rica.." e ikaw pala talaga yun...tapos nagwala na kami ng mga kapatid ko sa car... sabay napansin pa ng ate ko na kasama mo si bj..lalo kami nagwala...hehe...you were with your family, pero kayong dalawa yung napansin namin kasi while everybody was wearing the expected pastel colors of easter, kayo naka black ba or gray? tapos ang puti nyo pa natapatan pa ng araw, so litaw talaga=)...hindi ko nahanap/nakita si paula.. sayang..


nakwento mo din dito na you had your nails done sa taiwanese? nako sakit sa ulo talaga yan... inis na inis ako the first time.... i went to 3 diff. places muna bago ako nakahanap ng matino..dito lang din sa area natin, lapit din sa mall, taiwanese ba talaga yung napuntahan mo? kasi madalas alam ko vietnamese... e magkakamukha naman sila e..=)if ever dito ka ulit, i'll tell you kung saan, medyo pricey pero keri na at least malinis gumawa diba..sabay tayo...hehe..

basa ko din dito na hirap ka hanap ng net connection, (obvious talaga na binasa ko lahat) alam ko halos lahat ng starbucks, they provide net connection for laptops.. yun nga lang bawal pa sayo kape (sus pati yun alam ko) anyways if ever andito ka ulit sa reseda, pwede ka net sa bahay namin, wala ka kaagaw, usually tao dito madaling araw mag net, kasi gabi sa pinas(chat)... kahit sunduin ka pa namin.. hehe...at least malapit lang sa inyo (i hope)

feeling ko tuloy super kilala na kita kasi sa mga kwento mo dito...madami din tayo similarities, like kape and bath products! sobra ako din, sa body shop at bath and body lang halos nauubos sweldo ko... pag balik mo dito, post ka, sabay tayo shopping, hindi kita pipigilan..joke..hehe... owel.. haba na ata... ingat ka palagi, hope you feel better, mas napabuti pa tuloy pag punta mo dito, kasi you get to rest...god bless you and your family..=)

RICA PERALEJO SHOW A BIG FLOP IN CHICAGO!

It is known that Chicagoans are music lovers and concert fanatics, and yet discriminating audiences. They have always been very supportive of one local showbiz personalities coming from the Philippines to stage performances here in the Windy city. Their generosity and hospitality is not to question, whether these artists are BIG or not! And so our local producers spend their time and money to bring these artists to provide entertainment and to ensure that the “paying public” is satisfied for what they’ve paid for.

But what happened to the supposedly Rica Peralejo’s concert last April 3, 2004 @ TJ’s of the Ramada Plaza North Shore in Lincolnwood { the third change of venue as announced venues before were the Bob Chin, followed by The Oppah and TJ, at the last minute) that turned out to be quite disappointing for the few who came? Our answer to the many comments and inquiries received by VT, is we don’t know. We don’t know if it was Rica’s fault for deciding not to sing or dance, or if it was her producer’s fault) supposedly Ms. Vicky Sarmiento of Blu Concepts Entertainment). We also don’t know what really transpired that night between the artist and the producer. We don’t know what was included in Rica’s contract. If it was simply for personal appearance or for a concert performance. Why was it announced that paid tickets for the concert will be validated, honored or accepted for a free at the The Hunks Concert the following week, April 10? That Hunks concert was also cancelled. Why was it announced later on that those tickets will also be honored or validated upon Rica’s return to Chicago some time in June or September? So many people are asking and we don’t know the answer.

Rica Peralejo, one of the hottest young stars in Philippine showbiz, personally informed the less-than-a-hundred audiences that she was forced to cancel it upon the advise of her physician because she was suffering from laryngitis. Just wearing a jogging outfit (body fit leggings) with matching slippers, she spoke and answered some questions even adding. “Kung gusto ninyo, batuhin ninyo ako ng kamatis.” (You may throw tomatoes at me if you want). The audience clamored for her just to dance (she’s a very good dancer) since her voice was impaired. Yet, Rica didn’t perform. WHY? If she cannot sing, she can always dance gracefully as what she is known for her “Rated R” @ ASAP, a musical variety show of ABS-CBN. Instead, she sat down with her Mom and her manager to watch the local Fil-Am performers (Naughty Yauzah, IBU, Broken Glass Embrace, etc.) and quite reluctantly posed for pictorial with her fans afterwards. She even refused to be interviewed by this writer. We heard that she also disappointed the other broadcast group, who was one of the sponsors of this show, for an interview.

The viewing crowd was visibly disappointed and confused. Just like us, they have asked questions that remain unanswered.

We think Ms. Rica Peralejo’s maiden appearance in Chicago is her last appearance, besides it is a big flop, big palpak, and a giant brouhaha. We don’t think she can still come back for another Chicago performance, either in June or September.

We also think that the money be returned by the producer of this to the paying public, as there never was a concert or a show as advertised all over the community. Anyone there who knows about false advertising?

That is quite dissapointing. I guess if I were one of the audience members that night, I woud be dissapointed too. How much were the tickets anyway?
I'm pretty sure the audience was expecting Rica to sing and dance some sexy dance numbers. It's just too bad she was sick that night. But at least she did show up, even for just a question and answer forum and a reluctant photo session with fans.
Are any of the people asking for their money back? Or at least part of their money back? I am thinking that legally, if it was billed and promoted beforehand that Rica would be singing songs and doing some dance numbers, they would have a legitimate gripe for refunds.

Hi people!!! pasensya na kayong lahat at talagang pahirapan ang internet sa house ni kuya ko dito in Jersey. tapos, lakad pa kami ng lakad, eh wala akong tyaga mag-reconnect. si Paula nga, tried it the other day ata, and had to reconnect for 5times, then she gave up. pati signal ng cell dito, mahina. in a way, okay din, kasi detatched talaga ako sa lahat ng nakakapagbigay pressure sakin. like, im not being bugged by people from work, walang stress, pati yung mga kinasasamaaan ko ng loob sa pilipinas, nakakalimutan ko din mga nagawa nila sakin. naks, ang drama ko na yata!!! :) but actually, homesick na ako people!!!!! :( as in, lalo na the past few days (except for last night and today), umiinit dito sa east coast. so lahat ng new yorkers, lumalabas with their doggies!!! namimiss ko tuloy ang mga anak ko! i wanna go home na tuloy!! :( plus, i miss BJ na din so much! :( i miss asap and okfine na din-i miss work! ayoko na ng buhay tamad...i think ive had enough of that, hehe. hay!

Investigate first the background, saang venue or credible ba. Palagay ko yong producer mo gusto lang kumita ng fast money. Kahit di mo kasalanan, defenseless ka. Kung mag concert din lang kayo, dapat doon kayo mag negotiate sa mga producers na kagaya nina Martin, Gary or Regine. Talagang they go all out para successful ang labas.

CARLOS: I try to go to the gym at least four times a week. Dicipline 'yun. Kahit puyat ako, o tinatamad I have to go to the gym and work out for at least an hour and a half. I try to eat the right food and sleep at least six to five hours a day.

PIOLO: I masturbate. No, I'm just kidding. Ha-ha-ha! I jog regularly, as much as possible. I love running everyday. It's just like a habit. It's something I really should do to keep fit because running helps me burn a lot of fat. And if I have more time, I work out sa gym.

JERICHO: I workout. Kain. The regular things that I do. Tulog. Surfing, basketball and sometimes baseball. I used to play hockey before. Basically sports keep me fit.

DIETHER: Ako, I try to workout four times a week. I watch my diet. I try not to include any sodium and sugar in my diet.

BERNARD: I stay happy and try to be healthy.

It's a fact that girls swoon over you, do you have any idea?

CARLOS: Mero'n ba? Wala. Wala akong alam diyan. Siguro dahil pangit ako. Humanap ka ng pangit. It's really hard to come from me. Maybe we should ask the girls instead.

PIOLO: I don't know. Ha-ha-ha! It's flattering but I really can't tell, why.

JERICHO: Ah, wala!Kasi, 'di mo naman masasabi. Siguro ako lang talaga 'yun. Kung ano lang talaga ako. I am being me. What comes out, that's what you get.

DIETHER: I really don't have any idea. Maybe it's part of being watched on a regular show like ASAP. That might be one reason why, and perhaps because girls get to watch some of my movies.

BERNARD: I really don't know. I don't think of it. I focus on other things.

Have you received some indecent proposals what with the kind of job you're in?

CARLOS: Usually when I have a concert, specially when I am with the ASAP Hunks. A lot. I find it funny and weird 'cause some proposals would come from some na you don't expect, kasi sa 'itsura nila. Pasimple pang may tissue (paper), or love letter, or susi. Or some would give lingering glances. Nakakatawa lang but I get flattered. I just laugh.

PIOLO: Yeah, but I really never take it seriously. It was just all in passing. Before it could reach me kasi, dumadaan na sa manager ko, so hindi na umaabot sa 'kin.

JERICHO: Yeah! But hindi naman masyadong garapal. Parang biru-biro lang.

DIETHER: Yes, a lot of times. But I try not to offend them naman by saying na I'm not the type who would accept.

BERNARD: Not now. Long time ago before I entered show business, yes. But I never accepted and never will.

Have you already thought of an alternative to your showbiz career?

CARLOS: Ah! I guess I have to save up, so I could come up with my own recording company and produce albums for other recording stars. Or I could put up my own school for special children because I am taking up Psychology and Guidance Counselling now in La Salle. Or perhaps I could teach in college in an all-girl school. No, 'am just kidding. Maybe I could also work behind the cameras. But I'm a people-person eh. If you'd put me in front of a ledger and just do accounting, I'd get lazy. If you'd put me in front of a computer, I'd get sleepy. I want to be in front of people where there's a direct interaction.


PIOLO: Eventually, after my career in Manila, I wanna go back to the States and live a simpler life with my family. It maybe two or three years from now. It depends 'cause I don't know how long I am gonna last in this business.

JERICHO: I would want to put up my own business. Pwede ring maging employed ako, or what. Maybe put up a restaurant, gano'n.

DIETHER: I'm planning to get back to the restaurant business. Perhaps, I will work behind the cameras. Eventually I will be directing.

BERNARD: My band will always be a part of me.

Idea of marriage at this point in your life.

CARLOS: I'll settle down when I'm emotionally and financially stable. Siguro, when I reach the age of 30 to 34. By that time I could give more time to my family. I'm not in a hurry because I want to fulfill my promise to my parents which is to buy them a resthouse.

Qualities of a woman that can make you easily fall for her?

CARLOS: I like girls who are sweet, malambing, thoughtful, masarap magluto, masarap kasama, down-to-earth. Somebody who could carry a conversation. Somebody who'd go to church with me. 'Tapos kadikit niya 'yung mommy ko. Wala na, in love na ako no'n.

PIOLO: Honesty, simplicity and she should be God-fearing.

JERICHO: She should be sweet. A sporty one. Kind-hearted, that's it.

DIETHER: The triple "S". Sensitive, smart and sweet. Sensitive because some girls, they don't care much about how guys also feel, eh. Girls seem to care only about how they feel and tend to forget that guys can be emotional, too. Smart, 'cause I want someone to talk with but she should be intellectually stimulating. Sweet because I myself is also sweet. I want reciprocation, of course.

BERNARD: Can I give you one name? Rica Peralejo. She's everything. She's my inspiration. She's my love.

Does virginity still matter to you?

CARLOS: Huh, not anymore! Basta mahal ko, mahal ko. But if she's a virgin, then it's okay. But if she's not a virgin anymore, it's still okay. I'd love a girl for what she is.

PIOLO: No, I don't think so. It never will matter to me. I respect the past life of a person, so I look forward to the present, or the future.

JERICHO: You don't depend on that. You don't base love on virginity.

DIETHER: No, not anymore. So as long as I love the girl, I won't care about her past.

BERNARD: Well.No. Not really. For me, it's a matter of loving the person for who she is. Not for what she has done in the past. Virginity is not an issue.

How do you manage to keep your life private despite the fact that you're in the public eye?

CARLOS: I try to be as sincere and as honest as possible without hurting anybody. And kasama na rin do'n na, if I'd go out on a date with a girl, I'd ask permission if she wants to keep it private, or what. In my case it's not a problem 'cause if I have a girlfriend, I'd be very proud. Ipagmamalaki ko siya. But if she'd want na kami-kami lang nakakaalam, I'd respect that.

PIOLO: I spend as much time I can in the house with my family. I think those are the times as my private moments and I won't let anybody take that away from me. Nobody even knows where my house is.

JERICHO: Private life is private. 'Yung mga private stuff, you don't need to tell to showbiz people. Hindi lahat ng ginagawa mo sa buhay mo showbiz.

DIETHER: Usually I just stay home. Basically, only family members lang ang nakakaalam where I live.

BERNARD: It's hard but I try my best. lalo na the personal things, I really keep it to myself.

Name at least three gorgeous women in the 'biz?

CARLOS: KC Concepcion. She's beautiful. She's intelligent. Even though she's the daughter of the megastar, she looks simple and mabait. Number two is Claudine ( Barretto). Masarap kasama sa trabaho. Mabait, malambing, sweet, thoughtful and hindi ka niya pababayaan. She's a good friend. Third is Jolina (Magdangal). Masayang kasama and kalog. There ain't gonna be a dull moment when you're with her.

PIOLO: Kristine Hermosa. She's sexy and every inch a woman. Charlene Gonzalez. She's a beauty queen and a nice person. She's a very beautiful person. Judy Ann Santos. Judy Ann because of her simplicity. She's very Filipina in a lot of ways and that's what I like about her.

JERICHO: Gorgeous ones? Si Tintin (Kristine Hermosa). She's so beautiful. And then Charlene. I admire her talaga. I find Angel Aquino sobrang. alam mo 'yun? Parang you get attracted easily. Iba 'yung dating.

DIETHER: Rosanna Roces. She not only has a very beautiful face, she's also charming and has great sex appeal that even married guys could not resist. Dina Bonnevie is very sophisticated and she speaks well and has a very pleasant personality. Joyce Jimenez may look naïve but she has this enigma.

BERNARD: Rica. She's my type, eh. I like the anime' looking women. Aside from Rica, I like Pops (Fernandez). She's very pretty. And of course Ms. Zsa Zsa (Padilla). She's got so much class, in such a way that she alone can carry na, "Hey, I'm Zsa Zsa Padilla!"

Hello people!! naku, naiyak naman daw ako sa pagka-touch ko sa mga nabasa ko eversince my last post.... :) nakaktuwa naman ang mga tao dito, at talaga namang namimiss nyo ako, hahaha! I MISS YOU ALL TOO!!! Pasensya na kayo, at nag-enjoy nalang ako ng husto sa last few days ng aking bakasyon dito sa amerika. paano naman kasi, bago ako makapaalam ng vacation ulit, it will be another year....syempre, kailangan ko namang kumita, hehehehe. :)

kwento ko lang na sa New Jersey pala, ang hirap tumira dun! masyadong freak ang weather! ngayin mainit, pag dating ng gabi, ang lamig lamig! hindi tuloy kami gaanong makakilos. eh ako pa nama'y lamigin! hehehe. dito naman sa L.A., sobrang init!!! as in para kaming oven ngayon dito!! na-heat stroke nga ata ako kahapon, tsaka kaya ata pag umuuwi ako ngayon dito, parang hapong-hapo ako, dahil ata para akong napapaso sa init...hay! kaya uwing-uwi narin ako eh!!! miss na miss ko na buhay ko dyan, kahit busy, andyan mga anak ko, aircon ako kahit anong oras, may yaya ako, hehehehe. senyorita daw ba???? :) at syempre, sa lahat lahat, magkikita na kami ng asawa ko, hehehehe. :) medyo hectic nga lang pag uwi ko dyan, kasi pagkalapg ng eroplano, kunin ko lang baggages ko, tapos uwi ako para maligo at maghanda ng gamit, diretso na ako sa taping ng okfine sa abs-cbn! yikes! natyempo pa na yung uwi ko, taping na agad sa araw na yun. was trying to move my flight nga sana today, kaya lang, wala na yatang business class. so wala talaga kong choice but to go home tomorrow....although parang ayaw ko din umuwi, kasi, naiiyak na ako na maghihiwalay na naman kami ng ate ko, hay!!!! :( yan ang pinakaayaw ko sa lahat!!! oh well....babalik naman ako sa august, sana lang marami akong maging oras with her....
