guys, i'm applying for something which requires that I show that I have finished a certain no. of english units and i'm still lacking 3!
any suggestions what school (has to be CHED certified and in MM) can offer the fastest and easiest way i can earn those 3 units? suggestions are most welcome.

Would you mind telling us the true reason behind "the fastest and easiest way [you] can earn those 3 units?"
Thanks.

my application has to be complete by june 2007 so time's ticking. i just need to find a school i can enroll in and hopefully earn the 3 units of english asap, maybe through a summer program or an equivalence test. i heard some schools are offering crash courses of english proficiency for the callcenter candidates, but i wasn't sure they'd fit the 3 unit requirement. any new ideas would be appreciated. thanks!

1) Have you already been advised/instructed by the recruiter to earn the English credits, or are you "making sure" because you read the requirements from a list? Will your acceptance be guaranteed when you complete the English classes? Because if it isn't, you could end up wasting your time and money.
2) I would assume that any half decent college degree will have required you to complete some English units, which should be satisfactory for most employers. May we assume you have not yet earned your degree?
3) Other subjects may suffice to fulfill the English requirement, which I find arbitrary. Did you take courses like public speaking, business communication, technical writing, or debate? How about Shakespeareaan drama, or 20th century American writers?

hi, thanks for the points raised.
1. no it's not just from a list. i can be accepted but conditionally, this being that i acquire an additional 3 units before june. it's not a waste of effort.
2. yes, i have english units but just not enough.
3. we've already gone through all the subjects i took, we stretched 2 subjects to become english. i just need 1 more 3 unit subject to finish it.
kungpow, thanks for the suggestion of AMA, i will look up their requirements.
if there are any other suggestions, i'm certainly open. thanks!
