when i first heard cheese, sandwich and greyhounds i thought they were foreign bands... the way they sing their songs is really out of teh ordinary Filipino bands, such as eheads, rivermaya etc.. what do you think of the "new breed" of Filipino bands today..

well a lot of Pinoy bands have come out and I can say that most of them are really good. My most favorite is Wolfgang (well aside from Basti being good looking), most of their songs are done with such a good taste. Too bad L.A. 105.9 (Rock of the World) turned to a pop station, that radio station was able to help aspiring bands to go on the mainstream.

Eraserheads had a great album in Natin99
Parokya ni Edgar is on top of the world right now. They're great! English or Tagalog.
I saw them at Rockology...Galing talaga.
Greyhoundz is explosive man. As in EXPLOSIVE!
I loved that song with Chill.

pinoy rock bands? hehe i dunno all i can say is still foreign bands are the best not all but they have the originality that make their rock scene great and outstanding. to keso, greyhoundz and the others i think they have the potential because they're so popular in the filipino rock scene but all i can say is filipinos still havent reached what the foreign have proved but we have our own style but i dont really like it hehe

gustong-gusto ko sounds ng barbie's cradle. oh men, barbie is just a goddess. her music soothes d soul. buti na lang nung nawala ang HYP nagpatuloy pa rin sya and put up her own group.
i also like yung sound ng banda ni francism, hardware syndrome. this guys can rock!!!

black- well nde na, kasi basically ang HYP is barbie lang and ricci, w/c is da bassist. yung drummer sessionist lang. so nung nag-disband sila due to artistic and commercial differences, they went on to form their own group. we have nga barbie's cradle and yung kay ricci is yung grp nya na mojofly. heard of them? eniweiss nde totoo yung "love affair" angle kaya naghiwalay ang band kasi inamin naman sa akin ni barbie na ako lang labs nya nde purely professional lang ang relationship nila ni ricci...hehehehe.
peace!!!
