Need you advice, guys.

I'm working as a math teacher in highschool. Im planning to make a career shift from the academe to IT, well, for some practical reasons.

I know I have to go to school again because I'm not a techie-person.

Any suggestions for what school should i go? I tried to do the google search and found out that UP Open University offers Diploma in CS. I'm planning to study while working pa rin.

Any other school? I prefer kasi na hindi distance learning..

Thanks

Ateneo (CCE) and DLSU - Manila (CCS) offer Diploma in Computer Science as well. Try to go their respective web sites for more information. :D

you might want to try Kalayaan College's BS Computer Science program. Certificate course also available. Many of Kalayaan College's students are able to balance work with school. Plus, it's a college that's founded by UP professors and they get to use UP curricula. You might want to check them out. They're at Riverbanks Center, Marikina. or call 9344864

IT firms do not require CS degrees, although the background will definitely make the transition easier. keep in mind that the firms will train you anyway.
