Animexplosion 2000: attn. anime fans!

Medyo late na tong post ko, I was busy (and I sort of forgot about it :*)) so I didn't get a chance to post this earlier. But better late than never as they say.

The Animation Council of the Philippines, together with sponsors like AXN and Channel 7, is holding the first Philippine 3-day anime fan conference in SM megamall (megatrade hall) from November 3-5 (told you medyo late na ko). Various activities are planned for each day. Tomorrow, according to the schedule I got a hold of, there will be:
- fan art competition of 9-12 year olds
- an inter-organization anime trivia contest (finals)
- learning session demonstration on puppet animation (stop motion) featuring the MOWEL FUND institute
- on-going exhibit presentations by ACPI member-studios and other exhibitors
- and! animation masters' fan forum: tomorrow will feature
- Mamoru Nagano (creator of Five Star Stories/Schell Bullet) who is planning to do a demonstration on "The Art of Building A Mechanical Model Kit" and
- Yoshiyuki Tomino (to be confirmed, creator of Gundam).

There will also be autograph signing, picture taking (no flash or you will be escorted out according to a sign) and then closing ceremonies. For fans of Fushigi Yuugi, Hell Teacher Nube, Digimon, Dragonball Z, Crying Freeman, sorry but their respective creators were scheduled for November 3 and 4.

Hope you guys can go, and go early since a bag of souvenirs are given out to the first few (a thousand or so) people. Tickets cost P120.

sorry, but I think this convention is the worst ever in the country. Sobrang sikip, Sobrang higpit ng security at sigurado akong 5 minutes pa lang, BORED ka na. Buti na lang umayos noong sa anime quest.

Anak ng tokwa yan naalala ko nung cosplay na grabe nagkalat yung mga organizers kasi din nila expected na almost 250 participants ang kasama sa cosplay at isa na ang inyong lingkod na naburo sa loob ng room kasi pinagsama sama kami ng mga Dragonball Z,Fushigi Yuugi at CardCaptor Sakura cosplayers, as in super pagod kami at almost 1 hour kami na stock sa room kasi inayos nila yung line up.Sabi ng mga organizers aayusin na daw nila sa susunod.. Hmmmm .. sana nga.
Pero naalala ko kung ako na yung nasa stage feeling ako ang gag0 ng suot ko pero ok lang, atleast naranasan ko maging anime celebrity kahit saglit. :rotflmao:
