^ Why?
I used to use SuSE when it was still version 9. Pretty good.

Hmm interesting. Though, I retired from having a linux OS on my PC just because of my freakin ATI-based onboard graphics chip. I have to wait till I get enough money to buy a better pc and host a linux partition flawlessly.

Why? @ loc0
Is it because of the Microsoft and Novell deal?
I find SuSE user friendly than other distro. *shrugs*
Done with the download. Gotta figure out on how to do dual boot on my HDD with FC6 on.

Yup, the Microsoft-Novell thing. I've been reading up on Slashdot and Groklaw and people are worrying that Novell might accidentally contribute Microsoft-patented code get non-Novell projects sued.
Plus there's the GPLv2 and GPLv3 thing too. From what I understand, most if not all GNU tools will be converted to GPLv3 which prohibits patent deals like what Microsoft and Novell did. They say Novell will have to fork and maintain all GPLv2 tools by themselves because they will be unable to use any that are under GPLv3.
Bah, I prefer Ubuntu anyway ;)

Yeah, I heard about the GPLv3. That's their counterattack on Microsoft. c",)
