what's ELIANTO? meron naba nun dito? i've been to the face shop and i must tell you it's REALLY expensive. i prefer lotions than body oil i dont like the feeling of oil in my body

There's an Elianto shop at Mall of Asia & SM North's The Block.

Haven't purchased any product from The Face Shop. But I have a glitter blush in Dessert Rose from Elianto. I think I got it for less than P300. It's really nice; lends a natural flush to cheeks (fair skin).

Haven't tried the lotions, tho.

haven't tried their body oil yet (body butter person ako e) and di pa ako nakapasok sa the face shop. they're both korean stores, right?

I prefer TFS....there's at MOA and GLorietta and I think also in SM north, not sure with SM north though.... try their products, affordable and yet wont suffer the quality....

prices are really much more expensive vs. korea because suyen corp (makers of bench) still has to import the products from tfsk add to that tax charges and the like. =D i've been to other tfs branches in asia and the prices are somewhat the same. and it's priced as such because of the quality of the products and packaging =D

you can say it's the counter part of ever bilena in a sense that it is a local brand in korea. but in terms of other factors like quality, research, marketing, and the like, i believe that tfs is a lot better than that =D

and about tfs and elianto having the same quality, i'd like to reiterate that tfs is curently korea's number 1 cosmetic's brand while elianto is inspired by korean brand cosmetics. =D

I have their complete facial products from facial wash, toner, eye creme, essence and moisturizer...
This is the only product na hindi ako nag break out
The results are really good for me.

Even their cotton, maganda gamitin.

Their nail polish .. it doesnt make your nails yellow

Most importantly, the price is reasonble. Besides with that product you dont use so much. Pakonti konti lang.. matipid :D

Just today, i bought their set of make up brush. Ganda! :D

Elianto is a Malaysian brand although it was derived from Korean/Japanese makeups. I love their makeup, staying power is wayyyy better than TFS, because they're made for our humid climate :)

I prefer Elianto over The Face Shop. I got zits/bumps from using some stuff from TFS skincare lines (White Tree Vita Force Emulsion, Rice Creamy Emulsion, Calendula, Dewy Flower).

With Elianto skincare products and makeup, I didn't have that problem. I especially like the Pearl line. The products make the skin really supple. Ang ganda!

With the makeup naman, the eyeshadows are very pigmented, and inexpensive, too. Same with the blush. :)

^The thing with their e/s is mahirap iblend yung 2 colors. For e/s MAC parin talaga ako :D But for Elianto's price hindi nako magrereklamo :) that's because their makeup/skincare line is suited for our climate.

we never gave out samples of dewy flower moisturizers =D nor do we have existing samples of that =D

thing is, certain people have reactions to specific ingredients and before using a product, you'd have to test and know which ingedients you'd have a negative reaction to.

there's usually a 2 week adjustment period to a certain product and results aren't instant. also, know the components of the brands that you use. sometime, negative reactions are caused by mixing different brands that don't really blend well.

ako, i already tried both THE FACE SHPO and ELIANTO. nung bumibili palang me sa the face shop, sobrang i like their products, pero nung ako nlng nga a-apply outside, parang hindi ko na gusto. then i went to ELIANTO (moa branch), they are very accomodating than TFS, talagang minake-up nila me kung ano talaga ang bagay. and i like their shades! im loving it now. balak ko nga bilihin lahat ng shade of colors ng eyes shadow nila, 99 lang yung isa. and also, hindi ganun ka-expensive sa elianto. hindi pa ganu kadaling mawala yung make up mo sa face.

i LIKE the face shop, but i LOVE ELIANTO!

Sis ysah, what I noticed with Elianto's SA's are they're more knowledgeable with their products and they know how to answer to your questions, impressive indeed if you're going to ask me :) Although I'm not that impressed with their foundation, tried one last saturday and coverage is just so-so, it says "full coverage" when it looks just like a "powder" to me, I'm talking about their foundation with the whitening thingie here...

For foundation my vote still goes to Fasio :) Good value for your money *okay*

^ i agree sis babysmiles.. they know how to use their products.. sabi nga sakin nung isang SA na tinuturuan daw muna sila before sila i-assign, dahil nga naman clients look for their good shades ng make up before buying it kaya they are the one whose in charge to help the buyers.. i like thier foundation, but i dont know if yun yung whitening. hindi ko lang naibili kasi short me nun. pero im not sure kung talagang maganda parin after couple of hours na naka-apply

^Golden rule when buying makeup, roadtest it first to see if you have any reactions to it :) If you're hesitant on trying it on your face, you can do a patch test on the skin on your bicep area as this area is one of the most sensitive part of our skin, just as the same as our face.

In fairness, maganda yung lapat ng foundation but if you're looking something with a nice coverage, Fasio nalang! Even if this is just a medium coverage foundation, it covers large pores and stays put for the whole day :)

i wonder why? coz i've been using TFS Pore Minimizer, and I swear its effective... a guy friend of mine was shocked with the results... he thought i was just covering up my face with make-up... i've always suffered from acne prone skin, kaya super laki ng itinulong nung pore minimizer sa skin ko... the peel-off masks are also good, paubos na nga yung tube ko ng tomato peel-off mask... as for nail polish, i love them ^^ i actually have several shades and i wear a different one every week just for the sheer enjoyment of having cute nails ^^ i specially like the cappucino pearl shade... it's nice on your toes if you like to go for neutral colors. Adding stickers to your nails are also really nice... i enjoyed playing around with them a lot... tsaka super dali niya mag-dry, i don't have to waste my time standing in front of the electric fan just to get it to dry faster... kaya i'd go for TFS ^^

Ellianto eyeshadows are great, very pigmented and long wearing talaga. 99-119 prices. There are so many colors to choose from, di ko na alam kung ano bibilin ko! You can also buy a 4 palette container with mirror for 139 lang para magkakasama na lahat ng eyeshadows mo. I'm planning to buy this next time I go there.
Ok nga yung mga sales assistant nila, accomodating, knowledgeable and nice pa.
By the way I don't like there cream to powder blushes, pinkish lahat. Sabi ng bf ko parang caladryl daw. hehehe:rotflmao:

Hi blue_acid! What do you know about TFS? Do you work for them ba? Nothing naman just curious.. :)

I really really like TFS, although I havent tried any of Elianto's products. Been to their shop at MOA though a few times and medyo not too interesting kasi look ng shop nila, few items din to choose from (i go for "the look" kasi sometimes). Anyway, I'm currently using TFS's Acerola facial wash and I must say, ang lambot ng face ko! :) Also, when I bought that particular product, it came with a free sachet of Calendula Facial Moisturizer and super ganda din! It sucks in moisture right onto your face. It's pricey though if you'll buy the product itself.

aloe vera soap costs around php220, pero matagal mo syang magagamit dahil pang face lang naman e. what i do is, hindi ko na tinatanggal sa packaging so it doesn't melt away. tried this product dahil nung bumibili ako sa kanila dati ng lip balm (another great product!), they were giving away a few samples.

the green tea mask, on the other hand, is around php265. matagal din bago maubos yung sa tube. use it 1-2 times/week. yes, it's peel-off, but i think they also have masks na wash-off (mas expensive nga lang at php345 ata)

gusto ko sanang i-try yung powder nila w/ spf, anyone here tried it already? or baka may marerecommend kayong good powder w/ spf?

I'm using TFS hand cream, yung helping hand cream with beeswax and I can say it's super effective for me. I've also tried using Calendula Pore care essence, it's medyo mahal pero worth it naman, the effect is really nice. I'm also using their mask sheets, perfect for de-stressing before bedtime, and it's cheap for 95 pesos. I'll definitely buy a pore minimizer the next time I drop by TFS..

San ba pwedeng magreklamo para mapalitan na yung mga SA ng tfs at palitan ng kasing friendly ng mga SA sa elianto...

Bought The Face Shop's blush...nice sana the shade and the powder consistency, pero staying power isn't too ok. Have to re-apply a few times if I'm wearing it the entire day. That being said, hindi sulit for the price kase mabilis maubos.

I went to TFS Glorietta last night to check out their nail polish line. I moseyed through the nail polish bottles and the sales attendant looked irate as I tried several colors! She raised an eyebrow as I got a few testers and painted small portions on my nail. Hey, I was using the tester bottles and isn't it my right to test them first before buying?

A got a couple of bottles and headed to the cashier and this rude sales attendant followed me. Suddenly changing her demeanour and pretended to assist me.

Comparing to Elianto, TFS is losing the race in terms of customer service.
