View Full Version : Why doesn't Paypal include the Philippines?

I have some stuff to order pero they accept Paypal only. Problem is, the Philippines is not included in their list. Bakit kaya?

Hay naku. Nakakainis noh. But you can't blame them. In fact, there are a couple of online merchants that I order from and they initially asked for my billing statement kasi galing nga akong Philippines. Once they verified my billing statement, eh ok na.

plus i think, walang banks na gustong maki pag tie up sa kanila,

we have crappy online banking system as it is...

ayon sa research ko about this before, this is not the reason why paypal excluded the philippines, maraming bansa ang may credit card fraud and i don't think that sasabihin nila na ito reason because that will make their security a lousy one.

the real reason is because there are specific laws that paypal needs to include the philippines and I believe that these laws deals with money laundering and banking laws. meron na yatang pending bills about this pero ilang years pa yun bago mapasa...

you think having a Paypal account is cool. it will suck at least 7% of the total sale amount as well as pulling your money out of their account.

that's how Paypal makes money dude. all debit or credit payment systems get a percentage.

part sa reason yung financial structure sa atin kaya alang paypal pero big part ng reason yung financial fraud sa aten. pero kahit may paypal sa atin, i would suggest caution in depending on it for payments. dami ding bloopers ng paypal.
