Masarap talaga kapag tga sa inyo (school) or sa inyo nanggaling ang coach mo tapos nagchampion.

The late Kiko Calilan and Jose Cabusao for the Jose Rizal Heavy & Light Bombers. Calilan piloted the Heavy Bombers for 5 tiltles (1962-63, 1967-68 & 1972) while Cabusao helped the Lighties 4 of their 7 titles in the juniors division. Currently we have Boy De Vera coaching the Lighties and prior to that the Heavy Bombers from the late 90's to early 2000.

Does Coach Louie Alas a Letran alumnus?

Napakasarap nga para kay Coach Koy Banal yung championship sa SBC kasi he quoted "It feels great winning at home". Imagine, he guided the FEU Tamaraws in the 2003 UAAP Championship and the Magnolia Wizards in the PBL pero inisip nya siguro na bakit hindi nya tulungan yung alma mater nya to have the crown...

In GOD's will Coach Koy and the rest of the Bedan Community became successful in their quest to end 28 @ 82!

coach louie alas never played fir letran. he played for adamson university in the uaap but during his stint with the falcons he battled the champion team of letran led by dong libed, jing ruiz, tino pinat and elmer latonio in a tournament which i can consider the predecessor of the champion's league.

I wouldn't consider Gee Abanilla an alumnus since he's from DLSU-Manila, not CSB.

Alas (1998, 2003, 2005) and Vincent Favis (1999) are 2 of the 4 non-alumnus champion coaches of Letran. The others are Jacinto Ciria Cruz (1938) and Bibiano Ouano (1960). Francis Rodriguez, who led the SSC-R Golden Stags, to 3 titles in 1985, 1988, and 1989, was actually a member of the first championship team of Baste in 1973.
