Sa amin sa Guimaras, it's the "Pagtaltal" or the crucifixtion... held on Holidays


In Iloilo, we also have the "Dinagyang" (you guys know about this?)

In San Fernando, Pampanga, one of them is the laban ng mga parol every Christmas season. Each town makes a really huge parol, at least 10 feet high, and they're brought to the Paskuhan Village for the competition. The parols are wonderful! You'd never think they could do so much with colored paper, some switches, and a hundred bulbs.

well in tacloban they have this big event every year it's the pintados festival every 30th month of june. kung nakita nyo ang sinulog festival sa Cebu parang ganun pa rin yung pintados festival the dancers dress up in paints and also some colorful dresses for lady dancers if your really that curious to see such prestigious event go to tacloban city in leyte and they also have this shrine located in palo it's the mcarthur's shrine and also the san juanico bridge. the longest bridge in southeast asia if i'm not mistaken :)

I'm from Tacloban! I miss the santacruz de mayo. You're right the San Juanico bridge is the longest and prettiest bridge in Southeast Asia. I took pictures of it the last time I went there..
