Bakit tingin ng tao sa mga Thomasians BOBO na, BADUY pa.

Is it because those HS Grads that FLUNK the College Entrance Tests of UP, La Salle & Ateneo readily get accepted in UST?

Is it because those that study in UST are mostly the PROMDI and PUBLIC SCHOOL types?

Is it because most Thomasians are rowdy and undisciplined especially during UAAP games like the kantoboy FEU students?

The truth hurts.

The culprit maybe UST's very lax college admission policies.

UST students number about 40,000 which is far more than that of UP-Diliman-20,000, DLSU-Manila-13,000 & Ateneo-10,000.

Maybe UST should limit its college enrollment like the TOP 3. Or else it might go the way of Recto Diploma Mills FEU and UE which each have about 100,000 students.

If you are referring to the number of students na most of them came from provinces or flunk the entrance examination of the other univ eh sorry to tell you pero and product ng USTe eh at least may pinakikita sa larangan ng sining, siyensa-medika, teknolohiya at kalakaran.

ukol naman sa rowdy students sa sinasabing UAAP eh suskupo!wag na tayong mag malinis dahil ultimo studyante ng ibang unibersidad ay ginagawa iyon. Ang mahirap kase sa atin kesyo tayo ay nasa mas mataas na antas ng matrikula eh masyado na natin minamaliit ang ibang unibersidad na dahilan sila ay FEU, UE o NU eh pag nakita natin ang pag wawala nila ay nilalahat na natin at sinasabing JOLOGS, SKUWATER at PIPITSUGIN. Wag naman sana ganyan kaibigan.

kung ang basehan naman ay yung galing sa public school eh kaibigan buksan mo ang iyong mga mata dahil ang mga taong naka-upo sa politika ay halos nakatikim din ng edukasyon na galing sa sinasabi mong public school.

buksan sana ang iyong isipan at palawakin ang iyong KAMALAYAN.

and antoinette81, pwede bago ka magpost eh paki linaw linaw mo yung pino post mo kasi hindi 40,000 ang students ng ust, 30,000 (approx) & kasama na doon ang preschool - high school, kaya pwede!!

uaap talk na naman, kelan nyo ba ito titigilan! pwede ba! ni wala sa 1/3 ng university population ang interesadong manood ng uaap!

& wag ng magtago sa ibat ibang nicks, magpakatotoo ka bro!

As I've mentioned in my previous posts.... Some respected professors in our IS-CDA faculty graduated from UST. I have a cousin who's a Thomasian alumna, and right now she's in the peak of her career success. I admire how Miriam Quimabao's thinking was molded by the Thomasian curricula. Not to mention the intellect (forget those bad memories, please?) of Elijah, Dominicus, and our Pex favorite Bro. Sinned. In utmost honesty I admire their brains, even if I used to hate them before. I've settled differences with Sinned sometime in the past; I can't even believe that I miss seeing his name here.

All schools have their own shares of intelligent, not-so-intelligent, and intellectually challenged people, even psychologically-challenged people as well. Aside from us being all different, schools also have their own different ways of molding minds. It only depends on how a student treats such ways....he can live by it or throw it away. Worst, he can just take it for granted.

Mas malala naman sa'min ang stereotype noh? Palaging ang tingin nalang sa Benilde e puro mga bobo't pa-cute! E ganon ang tingin nila e...bahala sila! Basta ang alam namin HINDI TOTOO 'YON. Why bother?
