Even President Estrada acknowledges that the BEST possible qualified Filipinos to handle his very critical national offices SHOULD BE La Sallians. With ERAP's very limited educational background he needs to get the best possible Filipinos to assist him.

Most of these La Sallians are non-political & only agreed to join the ERAP Administration because of their desire to help their country.

Bakit magaling ang La Sallians?

Because the majority of the cream of the crop of Philippine HS Grads opt to study college in De La Salle University Manila mainly due to its tradition of academic excellence, superior educational facilities and superior course offerings.

From personal experience, companies generally prefer La Sallians and UP grads over the rest.

Why? Companies and Industry know the real score.

Correct me if i'm wrong but exec. sec. Zamora gained his bachelor's degree from UP (magna cum laude) and bachelor of laws also from UP (cum laude). I think he placed second in the bar exam.

Some engineer-friends of mine tell me Raffy Buenaventura graduated bs civil engineering from UP. Can you you verify this?

As much as I'm proud of being a La Sallian, I seriously protest threads like this. These types of thread topics are too egocentric to be given any credence. There are pressing issues out there that deserve a lot more attention than this ego-basking self-satisfying heck of a thread.

Animo La Salle! Be proud of being a La Sallian, but be humble amongst your peers as well.

Really? Even in GA.neters(the term?)/planetlasalle admits that many dlsu faculty were pirated from UST. Get real man.

greener pasteurs? probably, they do not deserve to be in UP faculty. What I know, UP faculty and prof are dedicated to their work. The fame and accomplishment they get and not the "greener pasteurs" that you claim.

Well, I'm just speaking from experience. Most of the professors I had during my college years in DLSU-Manila graduated either from UP or La Salle. I admit that I am not too familiar with the faculty profile of ALL professors in La Salle, but, as I said earlier, I am speaking from experience and not hearsay.

As for those professors that were pirated from UP, they (at least those whom I personally know or have spoken to) admit that their reasons for transferring to La Salle is, one, a more stable financial future and, two, a very promising research program for teachers.

My guess is that some profs in Ateneo were formerly pirated from UP and are usually paid higher. So, if you pirate an already pirated prof, you’d have to consider an enormous amount for their professional fee. :D

Anyway, UST and UP pa rin ata ang the best performers. Early 90s alam ko UST parati ang nagdodominate.
