Is it too hard to accept that no Philippine University is included?

If UP cannot compete against the best of India, China and Thailand in science and technology, what more the other "research" universities in Manila?


The correlation between the country's economic develpment and the state of Philippine universities may be suspect, nonetheless it might give us some insights about the socio-economic-political backwardness of the land.

The thread was simply intended to put things in perspective. Look around the Academic threads in Pex. So many pretensions and delusions. Of course this is PEX.. the refuge of the lonely, bitter and delusional. Are you included?

hmmm.. when i was in high school. sa asiaweek or some magazine ata la salle tops the private U in the philippines.

I still believe in Philippine education. WE CAN DO IT!
IF WE STOP putting down one another, instead let's pull up each other.
