I'll pick San Sebastian College because their players are all talented and they've got more experience than their counterparts at the College of St. Benilde. Besides, it's my ALMA MATER - BRAVO BASTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well for me, malaki ang chnce ng Baste kasi mas experienced sila sa Benilde...pero hindi naman doon nade-determine lahat...the Blazers proved it by sweeping the more experienced UPHR in the Final Four...magiging maganda ang laban between the two teams...and isa pa, BENILDEAN AKO!!! SSC really blew it...they had a 3-point lead with a little under a minute ago, and made 2 crucial TOs...ang dami pang offensicve rebound na ibinigay sa CSB in the finals seconds....

this goes to show that in college ball, it doesn't matter if one team is the more experienced one....whoever wants it more, gets it....

Now, it's our turn to shine. And how sweet it is?

We are the only team in history to win a NCAA championship in two years after our debut (in 1997). We sweep our semi-finals and finals matches. We have a very deep bench and all of our players can shoot.

You can't say that it was luck that brought the gold. We wiped the court with some of the 'best' teams in the NCAA. These teams had a history of championships.

Blazerman: no biggie, dude. yeah, i think so too....CSB is only a small campus. i do pass by mutien, benilde, solomon and duerr....more often i pass by mutien because all of my rooms are there. hope to meet you soon. who knows? your face might be familiar but i don't know the name.

i'm just wondering how our players are dealing with the glory, y'know. i'm also hoping that victory won't get into their heads...still hoping that they'd keep their feet on the ground. i'd really hate it otherwise. it's better that we stay humble.

Rasheed: it's true, fella. there was a party held at 'where else?' last friday i think. sabay ng on campus concert kaya konti lang yung andun...karamihan nasa 'where else?'. sayang nga rin e....wasn't able to make it as well.

Actually, I'm feeling kinda bad about the celebration thing. Nobody seems to make it a big deal in Benilde. No bruhahah or anything. Not even a victory rally during University Break. I've been talking with the student council about another celebration. The one is Where else was a bummer. It was short noticed. I heard only a few people came. I say bring a great mobile in CSB and have a party on a Saturday. Winning the NCAA was historical and a first. But the students and the admin dont seem to exhaust the celebration fever. Too bad!"

Speaking of Championships, do you see a parallelism between CSB and DLSU?

DLSU joined the UAAP in 1986 and won their first championship in 1989... CSB joined NCAA in 1997 and won their championship in 2000... championships three years in the making... coincidence?
