I believe the NCAA Management Committee requires Saint Benilde to wear BLACK as their primary color while rendering green as their secondary color. Just look at the team uniforms. Of course, they have no control over what the fans want to wear.

AltarBoy^ i think Mancom imposed the Black thing as a result of DLSU's leaving the NCAA as to deviate from the colors of Main. About the LSGH jersey colors, i noticed that they are quite in semblance of a Green,Black,White with just enough dissimilarity to merit a Mancom approval.

Their contempt for Lasalle should not be passed to its sister school, St. Benilde. St. Benilde follows rules, even the pep squad where tamed by the MANCOM (which should not be the case but the school administration were also whipped and influenced by their decisions). So why deviate from a traditional school color? I'm sure black is a nice neutral color but don't lessen the green color because we are part of the Lasalle system. :D

Yup. Benilde is part of the La Salle system. In the color-coded scheme of things, Green is used for all that is La Salle, Blue for all the Ateneo schools, and Red will always be San Beda.

Mga drummers ng main, CSB, LSGH and DLSZ were there for added support and parang pantapat sa Blue Babble. As for the drums in the g.a. last year pa in-implement iyon. In the middle of the UAAP season doon na lang pinaupo mga bands, together with the crazy 7 drum limit. Ewan ko lang kung may drum limit sa NCAA. Ilan ba drummers noong Saturday?

Well, i believe and im confident that our league will have a good season kasi pinagkagastusan talaga yan ng benilde and yung addition ni Comissioner Jun Bernardino sa liga. I hope *** ng mga masususpend na mga players or even mga injuries para naman maging healthy ang kalalabasan ng NCAA!

Yup. Letran and La Salle.

Funny La Salle was also suspended before in the NCAA because of player ineligibility.:love:

Correct, but I guess the two sides were at fault. It was not solely the fault of Letran.

But in the earlier years, La Salle was also suspended because of ineligibile players.

The drum limit was implemented dahil maliit lang ang RMC and the drums are louder than the whistle-happy refs in the games plus Studio 23 is having a hard time covering the games. Pero pag Araneta ang games eh hindi na nila problema yun dahil malaki naman ang venue.

And from what I know from last year, nagalit yata ang NCAA Mancom na sumasali ang LSGH and CSB sa games ng Lasalle sa UAAP. Ayaw nila mag-join forces ang sister schools. Pathetic talaga sila! :laugh:

okay bakit sa gen ad ang mga bands...since last year (uaap 2nd round ata) nag-start na ilagay ang mga banda sa 'himalayan' section ng big dome...nasisira daw yung mga upuan nila!

Ang tagal tagal nang nasa Upper B yung mga drums tapos last year lang nila inexile sa GA. Kung tungkol sa upuan, di na dapat problema since the drummers of DLSU, FEU, ADMU, UST and UP already have bass drums stands para di na sila magkanda kuba-kuba sa kakapalo.

First of all, walang drum stands ang karamihan sa NCAA (wala din yata ako napansin na drum stand ang CSB drums or I maybe wrong). Second, KJ talaga ang MANCOM dahil inggit sila sa team spirit ng sister schools kaya pinapakialaman pa ang pagsama ng CSB Pep sa games sa UAAP. :rolleyes:

Eh ano naman kung nandun sila? Yung Lasalle Pep nga sumuporta kahit nag-pullout ang Dean ng CSB sa support for transportation nung nakaraang opening. Determinado ang Lasalle Pep na tumulong sa CSB for the years of service na binigay ng Green Peppers sa kanila sa UAAP. They just showed their appreciation and respect for their sister squad. And they see this as an opportunity to train their new batch of cheerleaders for next year's UAAP season, para di sila alatin. Now why would they try to mess with our ANIMO?! Simple, they just don't get it. ;)

Honestly, hindi ko rin alam pare! Maybe they needed the transportation for the school supporters or logistics since host school nga. Ayoko isipin na may pulitika behind it dahil sasakit lang ulo natin. Pabayaan na lang natin na ganun ang naging desisyon ng dean. Tsaka na pag may makakapag-patunay na iba nga ang dahilan. ;)
