on MJ..I haven't heard that he's releasing
a new album..but that would be interesting.

I don't know how many of you back home
heard about the whole mj's a pedophile thing..
last year, when i visited home, i was
surprised how many of my friends didn't
even know about the george michael incident..
the industry..or someone..has a way of
stifling this kinda news back there...(sony?)

anyways..the santa barbara sheriff's department still hasn't closed the books
on mj..they're still welcoming any new
evidence or information to lead to his
arrest..( mj settled out of court by paying off his accuser..25 million clams! ).. is it any wonder that we haven't heard diddly from mj over the last several years?..

it was interesting to see mtv pick mj's
video as video of the millennium last month..
considering it took cbs threatening a
boycott if mtv didn't play bill jean.
(for you young'ens..billy jean was the
first video by a black artist played on mtv)

..i'd have to say the industry's trying to
ease mj back into the limelight..his
appearance on mtv was the first i've seen
of him in five years or so now...he's
definitely testing the waters...

but i don't know..whadaya think?

Rockgardener, don't really know if MJ's a "pedo" or not. Don't know if the boy's parents are telling the truth or they just saw this as a means to get rich. I don't know him personally so the only means of information is through the media. Don't really take too much stock at media or news reports when it comes to issues like this, like a person's honor or life is at stake, unless they are beyond the shadow of a doubt. Till then, I prefer not to judge.

Good points, guys. I agree with you completely.

Can't help but think about how much media does to damage a personality. If you're accused of a crime (especially something like pedophilia), that pretty much dries up your career like anything. MJ is still popular abroad, but I'd like to think that's because the foreign media isn't giving much attention to MJ's precarious situation.
