Any info abt Elvis Tolentino of the CSB Blazers?

He was my schoolmate in HS. We were surprised to know he changed his name into Elvis (He's Loreto Tolentino). Is he still playing?

yup loreto, or more popularly known now as elvis, is still playing..

re the change of nicks, well i would hazard a guess..i guess he wants to create an identity for himself 9since his dad is the origninal loreto tolentino of the PBA way back before)..i also know that the nick "elvis" started out as a joke that evidently caught on..

he playes pointguard of college of st. benilde and has 2-3 playing years to go before going to the proffessional league..he gets a fair share of playing time and in the last benilde game versus uphr, he sank in two crucial 3 pointers..

loreto "elvis" tolentino started playing for marist school in marikina when he was in 2nd yr hs. he was a late addition pa nga eh. he played for the fcbl and passarelle tournaments for 2 yrs. he then transferred to letran for the next 2 yrs before joining st. benilde in the ncaa. i'm really happy for elvis! he has a great 3 point shot and hopes he makes it big time. he has the blood!

I saw Elvis in Cherry Foodarama in Shaw Blvd last Saturday. Nagulat nga ako kasi dun pa sila napadpad ng team nila. Kamuntik ko na siya masagasaan kasi paalis nako. Haharang pa talaga sa daan! Kakain daw sila sa Jollibee. Malaki ang pinayat nya and he's better-looking now. They were still wearing their uniform, yung shorts, i mean, kaya natanong ko kung san sila galing. Ahahaha! Gusto niya ko batukan kasi opening nga naman ng PBL hindi ko alam. Hehehehe. May game daw sila sa Tuesday, so if you guys are interested in seeing him, watch na lang kayo sa Tuesday.

that was in 2002.. it wasn't his pass that made the SSC won. it was his foul on christian coronel..

pero it wasn't really his fault. breaks of the game na yun..

Yup, that's correct. Pero ayaw niya ipasa ang bola at shoot ng shoot ng 3 points pero sablay naman! Kung pinasa niya eh di sana back to back ang CSB. Pero in fairness, mabait si Elvis. :D
