I guess the answer is YES.

I bought my JBL speakers in the U.S. and had it shipped here in the Philippines. The courier asked me to pay customs tax duties as part of the bill before customs can release the merchandise to them, then delivered to me.

By the way, just out of curiosity, why do you want to buy laptops online? Is the model not available in the local stores here?

hmm try Johnny Air

medyo matatagalan lang nga.

pero yung shipping cost mo's cheaper since baka free pa nga yun.

and good chance pa na lulusot ka sa customs.
that's what a lot of R1 dvd importers do.

can't you have the laptop shipped to someone you know in the US then just have them ship it to you in the phil.? have them get rid of the box so that it won't appear as new.

oo mas maganda yon...
ipa-LBC mo or whichever filipino freight service.

Johnny Air's been reliable naman eh.

that's the solution kung wala kang relative sa abroad.

but ofcourse the bette solution is thru a relative. and wait out 8 weeks for your shipment to arrive thru boat.

Malamang. Carrying it in... ...wala. Flying it in (through orders)... ...most likely.
