I do hope that the csb event organizers wll extract all its creative juices to make the opening ceremony as unique and interesting as possible, and ofcors to deviate from the traditional oh so boring opening ceremonies of other schools in the past. no more ballet dancing from csb footworks (no offense). if possible, make the ceremony rowdy as possible with class :).

I watched the finals of the nbl (sydney kings v melbourne tigers), wala talagang excitement akong naramdaman unlike sa ncaa or uaap, ibang-iba!!Sayang nag champion pa naman kami hehehe... di bale lapit na ako bakasyon.

By the way kamusta na EB niyo, nina alinix, hikaru atbp... natuloy ba kayo?

Hey! zup? hindi natuloy yung EB at Menzies Hotel before. Only few people confirmed. Right now, no plans of meeting yet.

Kelan ka bakasyon? Gusto ko nga manuod ng Opening of NCAA since my alma mater is the host school but i doubt if i can go home kasi my school is not finish yet.

Anyway lets go back to the topic...

I wonder what the opening would be.... I just hope CSB will prepare an amazing opening ceremonies and an excellent season since CSB got the Overall champion at the 81st season.

Now that La Salle is La Suspended, it is high time for students of Saint Benilde to start supporting and cheering for their REAL team and stop hallucinating they are students of another school.

Funny thing about the ONE LASALLE POLICY is that a lot of outsiders think that majority of the students from different school systems only support DLSU and not other teams like CSB, DLSU-Aguinaldo, or even newly acquired DLS-Araneta. And not everyone understands that we can cheer whoever we want, when we want and how we want to rally the school spirit. As long as they are within the Lasalle System of Schools. ;)

And yes, there are a few students who would like to think that they are studying in DLSU, mas madami ganyang mangarap kahit hindi pa taga-Lasalle system school. Since Lasalle is experiencing problems in the UAAP, everyone including Anthony would like to see more people watching the Blazers strut their stuff in the NCAA. No one agrees more than I do but to say that there are feeling DLSU students is not an issue. To be a part of the Lasallian family is a blessing. :D

I've been watching DLSU games and CSB games since the Webb-Telan era and I can truly say that there's a mix feeling of school pride whenever each team from the system plays. And when CSB won the championship crown back in 2000, even Green Archers were watching inside that hot and damp hell hole that we call the RMC. Yes we cheer for each other but not to the point of going to each other's school. Sobra naman kayo! We have a right to cheer for family. :glee:

and probably since DLSU is out for a year, our brothers and sisters from main would troop to the games of CSB.. :D

1st game ng opening sino maglalaban?

Season 81's opening day matchups had the semifinal matchups of Season 80 in the openers. PCU-San Beda at 2pm. Followed by the Letran-UPHD.

But that opening day had a heavy 4 game schedule. All varsity squads played. The 3rd game saw SSC-R vs MIT, and the final game was between JRU and CSB. The last game ended at almost 10pm. Or was it past 10pm?

Kawawa naman yung mga players and students whose schools were scheduled to play in the 3rd or 4th game. Dahil as early as 10am they were already there for the opening ceremonies. The third game started at past 6pm. Duon pa lang 8 hours na naghintay yung mga taga SSC-R at MIT. Imagine yung hintay na ginawa ng taga JRU at CSB. Well, actually, halos wala nang nanonood by the time the 4th game started.

I hope this year, CSB does not make a repeat of that bad scheduling.

I hope they just schedule 2 games. Put the semifinalist of Season 81 on court on opening day, PCU vs MIT and Letran vs SSC-R.

But will CSB allow itself to be left out on opening day?

Me thinks, no.

Well, basta huwag lang mag schedule ng apat na laro.

If there will be only 2 games on the opening day like the UAAP... for sure... kaunti lang ang tao sa Araneta. students from the schools without any games might not attend the opening ceremonies.

Sana San Beda and Letran nalang ang 4th game... no offence!

I know naman that the student's support on both schools is great kaya siguro kahit last game kayo eh madami pa ring manonood.

who's coaching csb basketball this year?

It's still Caloy Garcia. I think it's a 3-year contract with the school and this is just the 2nd year that he's coaching. ;)
