Congrats sa Blazing Spikers! Tinalo nila ang San Beda Red Lions sa laban para sa men's volleyball crown! Kudos to the Bedan Spikers who made them fight harder! :D

this is a good news... oh well... i never know na magchachampion ang Benilde sa Volleyball! heeheheheee! When i was still in CSB... they never make it.... kailangan pala mawala na ko sa csb... hehehheee! :lol:

The Benilde Team in fact finished 3rd with UST and Lyceum in the Eliminations losing against FEU (20-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 12-15), San Beda (22-25, 25-19, 25-22, 20-25, 13-15) and Lyceum (27-25, 25-19, 22-25, 13-25, 13-15). So you see, all of their losses are all 5 sets and close games. However, the reason why Benilde and UST was the one who earned the Semis berth is because Benilde and UST had more sets won that Lyceum. San Beda actually swept the Eliminations while FEU lost one game against San Beda (21-25, 25-22, 23-25, 16-25).

In the semis, Rank #3 Benilde def. #2 FEU (25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 18-25, 17-15) while Rank #1 San Beda def. #4 UST (25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 25-21). In the finals, it was an exciting game too but Benilde stopped San Beda's momentum in the fourth set and disappointed the home team in the fifth set since 6 points of the 11 of San Beda came from Benilde's errors. (25-23, 23-25, 22-25, 25-15, 15-11).
