Striking Hair Dyes!

Does anyone up for a blue, red, pink, green hair dyes? San kaya makakabili nito?

Well, I dyed some part of my hair sa gilid with pink using "Mae Hair Dye" Flowering Pink yung tawag sa color. powder ** na hinahalo sa oxidizing lotion ata yun. I did this last July 2005 and may color pa rin hanggang ngayon (Feb2006) Yun nga lang para na xang peach color (faded pink) parang ganun. hehhe.

Well, i wanna try other colors pero unfortunately, hindi ko na macontact yung pinagbilan ko nun. So, anyone can suggest kung saan ako makakabili ng same brand or other brands basta trusted naman yung brand?

I bought the powder and the oxidizing lotion for 200bucks lang. galing pang Japan yung hair dye. i think mura na yun...

For us with dark hairs, we have to bleach it a long time to make the dye adhere to our hair.

Once bleached (bleaching powder, high powered peroxide) the hair will become porus (magaspang parang walis tambo ang texture).

Once you have it done avoid sun, swimming pool-chlorinated water, heavy stripping shampoos (use baby shampoo if possible) as it'll fade fast.

Try Manic Panic, that's what I used before. They're semi-permanent so it might last for a good month. I sometimes see salons have them (not the brand itself but same crayon-ish colors).

Gothic/ punk stores often have them (but I don't think we have them in Manila) or Hortaleza- beauty supply stores.

Yeah, Im familiar with manic panic. but i think its just available in the US. and i doubt theres a manic panic here in the phils...

im just curious if someone here in the philippines, specially here in MANILA offfers services that WOULD understand what you want.

is there any "punk-gothic" salon here? i wish, there is.

I don't think there is but one of the sales person in Hot Topic told me Manic Panic isn't that good. What color are you looking for anyway and how long is your hair. I have some extra hair dyes here. BTW, good salons have blue hair dye. If you are looking for more radical ones, you can try Hortaleza. I found fuschia hair dye there several years ago.

by the way, may hair is wavy and lampas tenga at lampas kilay lang yung buhok ko.. balak ko talaga paparebond ko and papakulay, but i really need to consult an expert on this muna...

Had my entire head streaked pink last year at Basement Salon (Rockwell Power Plant Mall). Essensuals Toni & Guy (6750 Ayala) also does unnatural colors. :D Does anyone here sell Special Effects dyes?

my hair is RED and im loving it!. dapat sana violet kaya lang ayaw nong stylist ko kaya GO RED na lang kame.

siguro mas maganda kung sa salon ka na lang magpakulay ng hair

sad thing manic panic isn't available here sa pinas nga... yep, they said manic panic really doesn't last. but that's how hair dyes really work, ryt? special effects works a bit better DAW, but it's also unavailable dito. -_-"

Cant find a salon dito sa place namin na may ganitong colors eh.
