prevent these by avoiding oily foods. i use acne aid by steifel(maker ng panoxyl) sa face ko. why not try it at your back? Use moisturizer na lang.. Stay away from exfoliants, mag dry lang yan, redness and useless peeling.

back-ne? try heading towards the neutrogena area of your supermarket & hopefully they sell the bodyscrub (which I think eliminates acne - backne).

My inexpensive way of treating pimples on my back is to use acne aid bar when taking a shower (DO NOT EXFOLIATE!) then use clearasil pore cleansing toner. This really made wonders on my skin! Try! :)

ganda02, i had the same problem in 2005 and the culprit was massage oils. the masseuse was using baby oil and apparently baby oils are not even supposed to be used on babies as they clog the pores. i went to a derma in medical city who charged me so much for a back peeling (10k per session) and sent me home with some mushroom soap(i dont remember what it was) and a home kit peeling oil. it did dry up but there were dark spots where the pimples used to be. the soap was supposed to lighten up and fade the scars. i didnt. i went back for another peeling but wasnt able to complete the treatment as it felt like my sking was burning.
eventually i stopped the source of the pimple and switch to olive oil for massages and luckily found a cheaper and more effective alternative- black soap purchased in Hortaleza store in Metro Walk. Now my back is pimple free and scar free! it only costs PHP45.00 VS PHP20k that didnt work!

THIS WORKED FOR ME! It costs approx P360 in PCX. Do this 2x a day; and at night, apply benzoyl peroxide.

My backne is really bad. When i used this, the pimples kinda dried and lightened up. Trying to look for Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash, Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment here nga pero parang wala eh.

I'm not sure if this would work for you... but hope this helps. Anyhow, can you guys help me-- what product do u use to REMOVE (completely eliminate) those ugly backne scars? Beach season pa naman... kailangan flawless. hehe. Cheers. :bashful:

^Correct beach season pa naman! :) Use contractubex i think but its mahal. Dunno the price though and am not sure if its available at mercury drugstore. It's really an ointment used to treat scars :)

Those backne can disappear naman, problem lang if nagkakaroon ulit ng pimples. Hehe :)

ganda02 you just have to go to the hortaleza store in metro walk and look for the black soap. btw the pimples dried up? if not you should use benzoyl peroxide to dry them up first before using the soap. just be patient and in no time they will clear up. also find out what is the cause of the back pimples. it can be that you are stressed, lack sleep (no.1 cause), allergic to your current shampoo or like me used the wrong massage oils (baby oil or mineral oil is bad for our skin). once you find out what causes it then you shouldnt have any problem. i havent had an episode in a long time.

asundra: i recommend that you try using other massage oils with vegetable oils as a carrier oil, notably grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil. maganda sa skin and easily absorbed pa. :)

I used to have this problem. I dried them out using Dr. Kaufmann's Medicated Soap as my bath soap for 3 weeks tapos i switched to normal soap. You would need to put lotion on skin because that soap really dries your skin.

i have problems with pimples in the face too..

based on your posts guys, ACNE AID is effective... so i did buy it today at mercury drug... it cost about 150 per bar soap...

i have used it awhile ago because of my excitement.. hehe...
so far so good.. i feel less oil today.. but we`ll see later.. ive just applied it 2 hours ago..

i have a question by the way..

how long do i have to wait to make my pimples completely disappear?

am i guaranteed to have less pimples within a week...

btw, i have an oily skin and i have a lot of pimple marks and some live pimples.. do you think it will be lessen? should i continue pricking it :?: :)

it's better to consult a dermatologist, para malaman *** nagcacause and pano siya mapreprevent pagnagamot na *** backne ;)

nung nagkaron ako niyan dahil sa hair product na ginamit ko before, binigyan ako ng panoxyl na soap para sa back ko lang, anti-dandruff na medicated shampoo ata para sa back pa rin, R/S lotion (na hindi ko naman nalagay kasi nilagyan niya na nung pumunta ako for consultation) and sansacne gel. ta's bleaching lotion para mawala *** scars na naiwan.
