Questions on Hair Rebonding and Relaxing

i haven't tried rebonding or relaxing so i don't have any idea. kung nagparebond ba di na kailangan iblower? ganun din ba ang relax? medyo straight hair ko but tikwasin, and ayaw ko naman magblower lagi, kasi nakakahair loss. gusto ko low maintenance, since i don't have lots of time to fix my hair. is rebonding / relaxing a solution to this?
i just had hair dye and highlights. can i have hair rebond or relax? or i should wait for some time. if yes, how long? :)

I've had my hair rebonded twice or thrice already and may flyaways pa rin ako.

But my hair is wavy & wavy in every other direction so mahirap i-style. parang wavy in one part & straight in other parts.

you still have to hot iron the ends as they tend to have flyaways. i don't condition my hair at the salon every month bec. i feel it's a waste.

hindi naman nakakakalbo ang hairdryer a, nakakadry lang ng hair.

buy a good hot iron first and iron the ends, like vidal sassoon. but always, always condition your hair after shampooing. it doesn't matter what conditioner basta may conditioner.

also, have a haircut every 3 months so the ends won't be too dry. parang maintenence na rin.

you should wait at least 2 weeks before having your hair treated. but i think there will be a chemical reaction to your haircolor, parang lalong puputi ata.

i also bought a hairdryer with a cool setting to dry my hair.

there are also restrictions after rebonding - you can't tie your hair for a month, you can't shampoo for at least 2 days, etc.

Di na kailangan i-blower ang rebonded hair. Kahit sa electric fan lang, ok ang bagsak. Ako nga when in a hurry, towel dry na lang.

Pero you can't have your hair rebonded if you just had it dyed. Kailangan yata mga 6 months after mag-dye ka pa lang pwede magparebond. Otherwise, baka di lumabas na magandang maganda ang hair mo.

kung straight naman ang hair mo pero may tikwas lang, kahit relax lang pwede na. straight din ang hair ko pero buhaghag tapos nagpa relax ako, kaya ngayon straight na siya kahit hindi iblower.

ang alam ko, pwedeng magpa relax kahit nagpakulay ka ng buhok. basta sabihin mo lang dun sa salon na bagong dye ang hair mo. kasi ibang gamot ang gagamitin nila, mas mild yata.

thrice na ko nagpa-relax sa davids. parating sinasabi sa'kin that the treatment will last for 2-3 months only. pero so far, ok naman. umaabot ng 6 months. basta dapat i-conditioner ko pa rin yung hair ko.

i can't say which is better kasi i've been a davids baby for more than 5 yrs na. satisfied ako sa services nila. but my mom is suki sa fix. she says ok din daw.

sabi nga ng friend ko, she can't recommend a salon for me daw. kasi kung hiyang siya sa isang salon, baka it won't be the same for me. :)

marami nagsasabi medyo mahal ang pa-relax at rebonding sa davids pero ok lang sa'kin basta sigurado ako. :)

i had may hair rebonded last december, i've a straight hair, pero since feeling ko hindi eefective ang relax alone sa hair ko, i opted for the hair rebond. nagpa quote ako sa going straight and sabi nila 7 thou daw, whereas sa fix podium 6,800.

i had my hair rebonded for 1,500, home service pa. until now, super nice pa din siya, as in ang ganda. i could recommend yun gumawa ng hair ko, just pm me.

i figured you're hiyang nga w/ davids' coz suki ka na, but i had to ask na rin in case u have other reason *** for going there :) . there's somebody in another thread nmn who's rooting for fix, she feels they're better than davids' nmn. i don't know where to go 2loy! i had my 1st rebond done in davids' southmall, so far it was the best rebond i had. i haven't had the chance to go back there ***, & plus i wasn't satisfied w/ the service, i felt rushed (though ok nmn resulta).

nung nasa college ako, suki ako sa davids katipunan kasi tatawid lang. then davids megamall. lately, davids sm city na ko parati. dun sa carpark. had my hair relaxed once in each branch hehe! :D

hehe, ano nga ba? it was actually my initial question. rebonding kc pampa-straight for those who have curly/wavy hair, & pampabagsak/pang-flat for those who have straight pro buhaghag na hair (my case). no need to blow-dry *** *** gumanda bagsak ng buhok. even if u let it dry naturally, mganda na bagsak nya. it can last 6months to 1yr, i think depende sa product na ginamit or sa pagkakagawa.
my 2nd & 3rd rebond wasn't done dyan sa 'tin, so medyo d mganda pagkakagawa. i feel medyo nasira buhok ko so i don't wanna have it rebonded uli muna. i thought maybe relax could be an alternative, though i don't know exactly what relax could do for the hair :D .
so, what about relax?

ah nakapag parebond ka na pala. hindi daw pwede magpa relax kapag nakapagpa rebond ka na. kasi twice na akong nagpa relax tapos palagi akong tinatanong kung nagparebond na daw ba ako. bawal daw nga daw. hindi pa naman ako nagparebond kaya ok lang magpa relax.

pwede ka namang magparelax kung wala na yung rebonded hair mo. kaso matatagalan pa yun kasi patutubuin mo pa yung hair mo tapos puputulin mo yung rebonded part.

so, what about relax?

parehas lang siya na pampa straight. pero mas mild ang relax kaya mas mura. yung pang mga tikwas at buhaghag. di yata siya masyadong effective kung curly talaga ang hair mo.

btw, kakapa-relax ko lang nung january. P400 lang ang bayad kasi promo yun. P400-any lenght na. :)

ako ever since kahit nung nauso na talaga yung straight, nagkukulot pa rin ako (but not the "kinky" kulot type ng hair ah). mas "goddess" kasi ang dating eh pag wavy ang hair. lolz

i had my hair rebonded 2x na...and it is still really nice. naging mas brown din yung hair ko and everybody thought na nagpapadye ako...d nila alam....shinyampoo lang yun :D

i know someone na nagrerebond din...home service din. she charges 2500-3000 pero she's so galing! even mga hairstylers sa mga sosyal na salon says na magaling nagrebond sa kin. pm me and ill send you her number.

Had my hair relaxed (followed by hot oil treatment) twice na in Davids in SM Sta. Mesa. I've long hair and they charged me around 4k. Ok naman, my hair is straight na and isn't frizzy anymore. :)

had my hair rebonded a month ago lang sa david's sa makati...so far,ok naman sya!hinahayaan ko nalang matuyo w/out blow dry!natatakot din kasi ako magblow dry baka bumalik sa dati yun buhok ko...hmm mahal nga lang yun binayad ko...i just hope it will last for at least 6 months tlaga...para **** worth it yun binayad ko.
