How much to tip 2006?

So how much do you folks tip? Please include the salon, service done & to whom (usually sa salon more than one person attends to you.

I just wanna see if I'm tipping too little, too much or just right....

i never get cuts before xmas lolz


and that's the reason why once in a blue moon ako magpagupit lolz

i wonder how much they tip in swanky salons like franck provost, basement salon, etc.

Restaurants -- 15% of the bill
other stuff -- about 10%
delivery -- about a dollar or two

when i had my hair rebonded sa david's salon (vito cruz) several days ago, i gave the stylist 200 and the attendants 100 each.

and since okay sila, when i complained about my hair not being very straight after a couple of days, they gave me a retouch with absolutely no extra charge! so another round of tips there! :lol:

Restos: i give 10% with or without service charge. coz if i'm not wrong, some restos kasi 50% of the service charge goes to the company pa rin! :grrr: pero syempre, with exemplary service, i tend to give out more.

for delivery: i give at the least 20 bucks to the delivery guy.

before, i used to give 15% sa restos, at pang maganda service, i give 20%. BUt now with the e-vat and the tax, no more tipping, haha yeah sounds cheap but practical lang, its understandable (sana LOL!) . but when im in a good mood, i tip din :) eheheh

Hay.. bad experience from ricky reyes salon at SM Mega..

the gay guy (cutter) actually forced me to give 200p to the shampoo girl (as a tip) I first gave her a 50.. tapos nag reklamo ang liit daw eh mga customers nila artista..

I told them hindi naman ako artista.. then the gay guy made his voice louder at pinahiya pa ako..

grabe naman yan, 200 pesos as tip sa shampoo girl?! almost minimum wage na yata yan a. i usually give 100 pesos lang don sa stylist. and true, pag xmas, doble, para pamasko na rin. take note, 100 pesos sa stylist na yan ha! lolz! :lol:

chaka ang tip ay due to GRATITUDE. it's not mandatory.
