Yesterday, I decided to go to salon to give my hair a haircut and hot oil as well... I went to one of the salon located in Makati and the hairdresser suggested me to give my hair straightening since the only difference to the total amount that I have to pay for haircut and hotoil was 200 pesos.. At first, I was hesitant to do it since *** hair ko e kakarebond lang last FEB 2005.. I told it to her, and sabi nya kc dw *** taas ng hair ko mejo nagwawvy n pero sabi ko *** baba kc is straight p pwede b un sabi ko.. sabi nya pwede dw un kc magone year nmna n dw since nagpasemi rebond ako.. kaso after the treatment.. para naluto lahat ng hair ko.. :( tanong ko lang.. kelan ako pwede magpasemi rebond ulit? pwede b kahit kakastraight lang nya? pwede ko b idemada *** salon n un? thanks ..:)

If I were you, give your hair a rest first and deep condition it often (protein treatment ata pag damaged hair). Don't color it or have any chemical treatment done to it for at LEAST the next six months.

No, I don't hink you can file a case against the salon - - first of all, you could have ignored the stylists' suggestion and went on on your own thing. She was right anyway - - it's been a year since your last chemical treatment, so basically, that's supposed to be fine. However, YOU made the choice in spite of the fact you were hesitant. You know your hair's history more that she does. If she coerced you or straightened your hair without your permission and that happened, maybe. If you wanted it done from the very beginning and much to your dismay, your hair was unexpectedly damaged due to their negligence and incompetence, then maybe, you could simply as for free hair treatments.

Suggestion ko lang: If you're going to have your hair undergo chemical treatments, try going to one salon that has your record, or tell the stylist in detail the "history" of your hair...When it was last colored, what was used (permanent? semi-permanent? henna?), and what was the last chemical treatment (perm? Rebond? relax?) I know that sounds a bit silly, but hey, it's your hair...you wouldn't want to be walking around with hair like walis tambo, right?!

really?
when you say "demanda" you mean, a formal complaint or court case with a lawyer involved or just a formal complaint to the management?! =P

I forgot the name of the protein treatment, but I got it at Modern Salon Beauty Supply store...ask them what salon's use for damaged hair. Basta, the one i got was in a black tub.

Or try that hair treatment that comes in a vial available at salons (I forgot the exact name..basta it's by L'Oreal) You might have to have that done every 2 weeks until your hair's health is restored.

IF you're shedding WAY too much hair, go to the Derma na.

you should have researched first and not believed them right away. your hair must have been in poor condition even before the treatment. you have the same responsibility as the stylist who did this to you.

I had my hair rebonded at Fix in the province. The i noticed the ends of my hair turned into something like a steel wool texture, mag 2 inches. then when i comb it, it breaks.

buti nalang may hope. i went to basement salon at rockwell for a restructuring treatment. it costs 2,000 but it was well worth it! Bumalik na sa dati hair ko & up to now (i had it done 6 months ago) it's still as shiny & straight as ever (with the usual flyaways - rebonding, i realized doe not keep one's hair totally straight).

and always condition (kahit sandali lang) after every shampoo. It really prevents split ends.

good luck!

It's called restructuring treatment (basta may word na restructuring). yup one time treatment lang. Yup you can see results after the treatment.

at first i was skeptical, but shampoo after shampoo every centavo was worth it.

Sana magwork rin sa yo.

you should also tell them when you had it rebonded just in case lang. so they can give you advice.

like i said, 6 months ago pa yun (or maybe 9 na nga) so i really don;t remember.

Jen, the stylist also cut my hair but not a lot. just to make the bagsak better. 1,000 yun. kasi the last hair cut i had was really bad, thinking it would get rid of the frizzy ends. it did not.

but the restructuring treatment really helped.
