Haven't met Sunday's gf yet, but obviously she's from CSB. :) Di nya sinasabi who it is, but I think they've been together for quite a while now.

Haay. Kung pwede lang ba maging gf ni ano eh...or ni ano...pero andami kasi ng mga crush kong player na mukhang may mga gf na eh! Worse, mga may asawa't anak na! Aaargh. :(

As for my experience, di pa naman nangyayari yun...kasi hindi pa ko nagkaka-bf na player. Muntik na pero buti na lang hindi. That was a close call. **** kasi yung guy eh. :)

Before I was paranoid about it...especially after I overheard a girl say "Siya ba yung GF ni.....Bad taste naman". Now, I wouldn't date a player if someone paid me...too much heartache and hassle. La lang, share ko lang...

i'm telling you, it's extremely difficult to have to deal with your guy's crazy commitment to a ball and a hoop.

they hardly go out, can hardly go out, freaking training everyday, a grueling game schedule and a life that only consists of dribbling and doing free throws.

unless they can make a substantial space for you in their lives which is occupied primarily and overwhemingly by the game they play, that's the only time you can be considered lucky.

but i have to admit, it's pretty cool for awhile. :)

Siguro an ideal girlfriend for a basketball player would be someone na hindi magseselos sa bolang hawak nya coz that's what the guy will be holding on to the rest of his basketball life. :)

Yeah, it's true that they have a very demanding schedule pag may upcoming tournament. They also train even if off-season ang team, to prepare for the next season naman. And we thought these guys have all the fun...wawa naman pala sila. :(

I should agree with vain...not everyone of them plays around, crumbs.
At first that was what I thought, too. May ibang player dyan na nagfi-feeling pag may girls na nanonood sa kanila maglaro na parang kahit sino na lang dun pipiliin nilang paglaruan...but not all of them are like that. May mga matitino pa namang natitira.
I guess should know that, for a fact. :*)

BOTH THE PLAYERS AND THE GIRLFRIENDS ARE FEELING BUT ONLY SOMETIMES. I AM NOT SAYING ALL BUT MOST ARE. THERE ARE SOME GIRLS WHO ARE ONLY WITH THE GUY BECAUSE THEY ARE PLAYERS. I admit to being a "trophy" girlfriend. That was before, and hindi basketball player yung ex ko. Right now, there is someone wonderful in my life and he is an NCAA basketball player. It's so surprising how different he is from my former bf, na athlete ng ibang sport, coz he doesn't have the typical "player" attitude. And I'm happy to say that there are still some guys out there who wouldn't fall under the same generalization everyone has about basketball players. :)

i dont think we shoud consider the girlfriends of the NCAA players luckier than those who have "normal" bfs lang. these girls may have their own share of the popularity but they,too, have their miserable tales to tell. mahirap maging gf ng player considering napaka-demanding ng schedule nila and you can't compete with that. ikaw din ang sasalo ng mga hang-ups nila esp pag masama ang laro. many people expect you to be always at your best kasi you also project what kind of image your bf has.(of course meron ka namang sariling identity pero 'di maiwasang mag-reflect sa bf mo yung actions mo, ryt?) hay naku! these are just some of the "not-so-good" side of having a popular guy beside you. pero syempre, marami rin advantages!

basta i know it all boils down to what kind of bf one has and im lucky to have one simple guy with me. im pretty much contented with that.

Wala lang...at first ayoko pa pumatol sa kanya kasi nga andami ko nang biases sa players. But now, na-realize ko na these guys are not all what we think they are. They can be the sweetest, gentlest people on earth kahit mukha pa silang mga dagul sa laki nila! (hehe) And not all of them come with the player attitude na pang-ego boost lang ang mga gf nilang trophy. They are like normal guys - looking for someone to understand them, someone to inspire them, someone to love them...especially during the times na talo pa sila sa mga games nila.

What angeldevin is true, though...these guys wake up, eat, and sleep with a basketball on their hands. With my guy, he has training every day of the week with his PBL team, and we get to meet only after training niya in the afternoon. Pagod pa siya nun. He only has Sundays as his day-off...kawawa naman. Being a gf of a basketball player should understand and adjust to his schedule, sa ayaw at sa gusto.

Pero it doesn't matter kung bumabawi naman eh. :*) Basta, I know na I love him so much! :inluv:
