Sandwich definitely has my vote! Alright, since, I presume, you listen to NU, do you know who sang "One drop of water" (I think that's the title) ? Its Screaming _____. And do you have any idea on how I can get the lyrics of Neve's "It's Over Now"? Thanks!!!

Hey let's give all the bands an award each for trying to revive the Philippine rock scene. I guess their hard work is paying off.
I'm not a big fan of Korn-sounding bands or college rock bands but I can feel that their intentions are good. I've seen Cheese and Greyhounds in underground gigs when they are still unsigned and they sound more agressive than now.

Credit should also be given to NU for being different from other radio stations.

I'd go for Cheese. They sound a lot more like Korn. And besides, their debut album is good! Hope they grab the gold in this year's Rock Awards. Rock on, fellow metalheads...

I think that ABS-CBN guy was just kidding about the "jologs" comment. But then again, the crowd proved his point by acting in a rather "jologs" manner..... hurling foreign objects and showing absolutely no respect for the guests. Low-class behavior I'd expect from kupaw konnoisseurs.

I said this in another thread, let me just say it again...

The NU Rock Awards has been lackluster the past years not just because of the music scene, but because it lacked interesting elements. It hasnt been controversial enough. Last night's Rock Awards was almost borign if not for the Diether incident. Sure, it was at his expense, but I'm objectifying the whole Awards scenario here. NU107 needs more controversy for it to be really exciting and interesting. Parang MTV Awards circa early 90's.

Ian Tayao had to put the final nail on the Diether's coffin: "Jologs daw 'ooooooo!!!!! wahahahaha!!!" That's balls for you.

The bottle hitting Rikki Kwek was another matter altogether, though.

The night's greatest sport was, I guess, Michelle Bayle. She knew she was getting objectified, but she reveled in it. She knew it was part of the show, and she carried her part well.

Si Diether, well.... :D

Funny, I wore a shirt that said "I Love Hunks". Good thing I didnt get lynched. Heeeheee.
