Uniform/no Uniform/best Uniform

This is one of the issues that we had in PLM... oh those were the days...

pahinga muna sa mga issues ang mga scholars... hahahahha.

a. Do you want to have a uniform?
b. Do you want to change your uniform?
c. What school has the best uniform?

Want to know the sentiments/opinions of the students from different
schools...

Okay I will start...

a. When I was in first year, I wanted to have no uniform... but time
passed by and my position took a 180 degree turn... I want our
school to retain our uniform...
Why? Cause for a student like me, wearing different clothes
everyday is such a headache. You'll never know that you are
being ridiculed by your classmates after you wear that same set
of clothes for a month now... hahahahaha... we do that with
our instructors... sorry... hahahahahha... very bad.
One thing, it is the most economical thing to do. You only need
to show-off once a week (that is if you have saturday classes).

b. For the boys, no... polo shirt and black slacks will do.
For the ladies, yes... a bona fide lady PLMayer knows what I mean.

c. For me, the best uniform that I have seen is that from UST.
I forgot the uniform of other schools... so I will stick with UST
for the mean time.

A. YES. Less worries for those who are always on the go. You just have to neatly press your uniforms and wear them with pride. Mas pormal ang dating. Kitang kita ang school identity.

C. UST uniforms. Everybody is in white! Ofcourse, included na rin dyan ang girls of Architecture, IPEA, Accountancy, Engineering, and Music. :)

A. I really didn't have a choice then because in college, everyone was required to wear a uniform. You just had to wear it proudly and of course, accessorize with the right stuff. But the thing with uniforms is that you are spared from the agony of thinking what to wear day in and day out.
B. During my time, not really. I just wish we had a wash day so we could at least wear street clothes on a certain day. Oh well.
C. I think UST has the best uniform, especially if you're from CAFA (during my time, it was still called CAFA), Medicine, PT, Science and AB. If ever there was a horrendous UST uniform, that would have to be the Education uniform, especially the ones worn by the ladies. But in fairness, there are a considerable number of pretty ladies in Educ. *okay*

I hate uniforms!

Mas ok sa akin wala so that you can express yourself more on fashion. Sarap din kasi madami damit. Well basta at least you have set of clothes for two weeks then mix and match nalang Para naman hindi obvious na paulit ulit right?

At least pag walang uniform, you can wear the clothes you are comfortable with and at least you look better on it.

nung hayskul ako wala kaming uniform, kahit nka tsinelas nga pwede pumasok eh. wag lang shorts. lalo na yung mga nakatira sa school dorm, sa loob ng campus.

yung uniform namin ngayon, parang pang-opisina raw. ang ayoko lang madaling mahihimulmol yung tela na pareho ng tela nung ladies' uniform ng FEU sa isang course nila..

maganda ang uniporme ng BRENT I.S. tska Ateneo High.

Sa uste, the best pa rin yung sa theology, ecclesiastical studies, canon law..
favorite ko yung round collar na may white square sa baba ng adam's apple.

The worst na lang. I think the worst uniform that I've seen is the uniform worn by female FEU medicine students. Ito yung ang butones ay nakalinya ng straight pababa sa gitna pero nasa likod ito. Imagine an ordinary blouse na nasa harap yung buttons, pero sa kanila, nasa likod iyon. I wonder how do they wear that uniform.

Depende naman yan sa environment ng school mo kung sobrang daming pakialamera at pati wardrobe mo eh kinakabisado at ipapamukha pa sa iyo.

My school doesn't require a uniform (except for health-related courses). Kakaunti lang ang damit ko but hindi major problem ang pagpili ng isusuot araw-araw (unless sobrang gusot). Siyempre, namememorize na rin namin yung damit ng mga classmates namin pero nobody gives a hoot.

c. for college uniforms, I like the ff:
--boys: UST--basta yung colleges na black pants and white polo lang. Okay kasi yung tabas ng polo and pants though yung ibang students parang kakaiba and sometimes masyadong mahaba yung polo nila so parang nababawasan yung height nila

--girls: practically all nursing schools na white ang uniform and walang tatak sa damit ha ha! St. Scho (in pants) also looks good

I am from UP Manila :) While marami sa inyo ang alam na pag sa UP walang uniform, sa UP Manila, out of the 7 units (colleges) na nag-o-offer ng undergrad, 1 lang ang walang uniform, *** College of Arts and Sciences. The rest are health sciences units at cyempre required ang famous whites.
